When asked about the move and Kidd’s relationship with the owners, Horst said he made the “recommendation” to fire him and then quickly corrected himself to say he made the decision. Sounded like it wasn’t his call and the owners have final say which means they’ll have final say on new HC as well.

OH. MY. GOD. Thank you Lord, thank you Jesus!!! Thaaank you!!!

Jan. 22nd, 2018 will go down as one of the happiest days in Wisconsin sports history!!!

I can finally watch Bucks games again and actually fuggin' enjoy them!!!! This prick has been sapping my enthusiasm for this team for far too long. He's taken away my full enjoyment of truly enjoying Giannis to the fullest. Tuning into games became a chore because I knew we'd have to see his stupid fuggin' face on the sidelines, and watch his abortion of an offense and defense night in and night out.

I still can't believe it! I haven't been this happy over anything sports-related since the Packers won the Super Bowl!!!!!

Celebrate good times, come on!! It's a celebration...

I was driving past the new arena on I-43 earlier when I got the news. As I was driving, I glanced over at the new arena while R.E.M's "Everybody Hurts" was running thru my head, thinking "I can't believe Jason Kidd is gonna get his stank on this beautiful building...cursing it for life". At that moment, I got a text from a friend saying "Kidd fired". I about drove off the road. I think I teared up. I started trembling. I haven't felt this way since I was a youngster in 1985, and I woke up to a Nintendo Entertainment System sitting under our Christmas tree on Christmas morning.

But then I thought, I bet he's f'ing with me. I texted him (voice to text, of course) "If you're lying to me, I will find you, and I will kill you". I quickly turned on 105.9, and sure sh*t!!!! Unreal! I turned and frantically waved at the motorists driving along side of me. They thought I was nuts, of course.

"Walking On Sunshine" quickly replaced "Everybody Hurts" in my head! And I swear for a split second, the clouds split, the rain stopped, and a small beam of sunlight came shining down.

Maaaan! No more rooting for loses this year! The deed has been done. Too late, but done. FINALLY. And guess what, we all save money by not having to get a billboard!

So long, Jason Kidd!!! And f*ck off. I'll miss you less than the wart I had to have removed from my chin as a little kid!

Now let's hope the owners don't f*ck up this coaching search like they did the GM search. And I'm ok waiting til the off-season. But I'd be cool bringing Fizdale in now.

I'm so damn happy fellas!!!!

GO BUCKS!!!

Hallelujah!!!

There's some lessons for us fans here: We don't really know for sure a lot of things we really, really think we know for sure. It's possible the thing we think we know is just convenient for us to believe.
Also, don't let strong feelings and frustration override our ability to discriminate between reasonable criticisms and completely wild-ass speculation.

By Friday we'll know who the next coach we want fired will be

Hopefully the Bucks can give Fizldale a look. Always really liked him. He didn't get a fair shake in Memphis.

Firing someone - anyone - is usually emotionally tough, even if the person being fired is a jackass. That's a genuine Big Boy move for Horst.

It sounds like we are going to name an Interim coach by Friday and that it won’t be a current staffer. Then it sounds like we will have a Coaching search in the summer.

Joe Prunty: "Jason Kidd is a hall of fame player, hall of fame coach, and a hall of fame person."

Well, one out of three ain't bad.

I know this bothers people but realistically I don't think there are many owners in sports who don't make the actual final decision on coaching hires and fires even if the GM technically has that power.

I was listening to a one of the old vertical pods and they were talking to a GM who was explaining the trade process and he mentioned most owners have input on big trades too.

He also called him a HOF ‘person’. Which is kind of a bad thing to say.

I'm sure the firing wasn't taken well by him. He went from being a potential POBO to being fired by a GM who was picking up his dry cleaning a few months ago.

Typical GM speak, Horst seemingly loved Kidd last week in his interview with the fan and said the team is meeting expectations. One week later Kidd is fired and Horst said he believes the team was not meeting expextations
