Hm..if true this is kind of concerning. Obviously, no clue how accurate this actually is.

Eh, if true, Giannis and Parker probably don't get along. Also if true, winning will cure all hopefully.

The Suns were 'devastated' when Earl Watkins was fired and that was the straw that broke the camel's back with Bledsoe before he got shipped out. I think it's pretty unavoidable especially with more 'player orientated' coaches. The worst thing I think would be firing Kidd and not having a plan, I really hope they have a plan.

Giannis was clearly brainwashed by Kidd and in awe after googling his career stats

I'll take that with a grain of salt. Kidd knows how to sew discontent.

Giannis can easily deny it if it weren't true. Listening to the Bucks, their locker room sounds like a funeral so I believe the reports. Regardless, a few wins and the players will quickly get over it.

Also a good point. And again, even if it is true, does that mean it really matters?

It's kinda scary that the players didn't even realize Kidd was holding them back

They will by Friday, apparently.

I doubt Kidd is lying on what Giannis said. Giannis could easily refute that if it was a lie. This is very discerning. Everyone wanted Kidd out, but no one stopped to think of our superstar did. This is a players league and we just pissed off our only my player

Winning cures everything. Not only will winning bring the players back in line with the organization, but it will also prove the organization was right to fire Kidd. It is 100% on the organization to bring in the right guy, or else everything could fall to ****.

These kinds of things should always be taken with a grain of salt. Even if it's basically true or essentially true, that doesn't mean it isn't just an emotional reaction that Giannis will very soon get over. It could be technically true, but the real meaning (now and longterm) of it isn't really known to us.

As people on the GB pointed out, a lot of Warriors (including Curry) we're very upset by the Mark Jackson firing.

Yup. Giannis has developed quite a bit under Kidd and probably feels indebted to him for it. But he'll get over it. No doubt in my mind.

Probably about to be a bunch of Giannis trade proposals on the board.

As long as they start winning.

Wonder how much sway Kidd had in the Jabari negotiations.

Being a former great player means so much to current players and causal fans.

They'll soon get over it if we hire the right replacement.

@Peregrino
in the volleyball team I played last year, our coach got fired while we (the players) knew it for a couple of days before it was announced to him. The mood was really downcast in the training in-between those events, and we genuinely hated him as he was not only a useless bum but also a PoS in general. The funeral atmosphere means nothing in such cases.

We need to write 100 times on the blackboard:

"I will not overreact to little snippets released in the media and get carried away drawing conclusions from them because I have no way to place them in their proper context or understand exactly how meaningful they may or may not be"

I know it's a long sentence, but it's the only way we'll learn.
