Yeah. It's normal.

I don't remember this response from the players the last time the Bucks fired a coach mid-season (Skiles). In any event, my point is the players will get over it.

WITH PRUNTY? IS THIS SOME KIND OF BAD JOKE? BAD TIMING TO FIRE KIDD.

Addition by subtraction. Kidd made several questionable on-court decisions in crunch time. That's just one of many factors that made this decision an easy one for Bucks leadership.

That's the only thing i can give to him.
It will be shocking if Giannis didn't realize(just like any other bucks player) that the team was going nowhere.
Did he like the bball the team played? I don't think so.
It's the first reactions and emotions are strong. He will get over it.

I think he did like the basketball being played. Sure he wants to win, but I’m sure being so young he loved the minutes he was getting and being able to iso whenever he wanted filling up the stat sheet.

I can understand that but there's no way he was happy with the D the team played.
Giannis is a natural D above all. I've noticed numerous times on which he showed displeased with the D.
It wasn't in my imagination. It's something that it DID happen many times.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence Kidd got canned before Jabari came back.

Agreed on the bad timing. Should have been done after the Miami game 12 months ago.

Right. What would you say of course. If they wanted badly to fire him, they should have fired him after Jabaris return and after any potential playoff failure in the 1st round . And lets not forget where Giannis is now and where Giannis was before Kidd. He really evolved and helped all the youngsters in this roster. Its bad timing and probably bad decision from many aspects.

Good news is we have some easy games coming up and Jabari coming back soon. We should win a good clip before the break. Should.

I don't exactly have high hopes that things will drastically change right now since it's the assistants taking over, but it's a start. However, maybe there are things they've wanted to do but Kidd hasn't allowed, we don't know. I remember when he had the hip surgery I thought the offense had more movement and passing, sure maybe it was just my eye test being wrong or my bias of disliking Kidd but I remember thinking it at the time. We'll see. Also, with this happening I'm sure it's also a wake up call to the assistants to do something else, even if they were on board with everything going on so far. This kind of gives them an ultimatum or pressure to shake things up a bit. And that has to be a good thing.

It will be an interesting rest of the year with this, then Jabari back, good drama for us diehards.

I would've gone to the game tonight had I had more notice. I hope the crowd erupts when Prunty is announced.

Not a joke. He can't be any worse. Kidd was the worst coach in the NBA by a country mile.

As long as there are people out there with thoughts like this below, there will be plenty to talk about.
