I was trying to find the answer to that same question - and everything I saw just said he was part of next year's recruiting class.

Apparently that was expected after he started visiting other schools in the fall. Hope Maryland has other big man options. They do have the Mitchell twins coming in for 2019 but no real big for 2018 other than the very thin and talented Jalen Smith.

Next year, if Fernando and JJ leave and Bender can't play anymore, you have this. Nine scholarships with four left or three if Bender plays.

Basically, if the can't add another freshman 5 or burly 4, they have to sign a juco or two or get a grad transfer big.

What to watch???

Right now the score is 53 all. I kind of expect Maryland will drop this one at Indiana.

Men lost at Indiana...(glad I watched the women beat the hell out of Ohio State!)

My only complaint is that Heurter needs to take that last shot, and not Cowan.

They had a chance but they just couldn't get the rebounds when it counted. That last offensive rebound and put-back by Indiana killed them.

About 15 years ago I got to speak with Wojo. I remembered that he is from Maryland but chose to go to Duke.

I even remembered his snubbing Maryland when I spoke with him.

. I don't know if I mentioned it or not I can't remember...I made a joke of it I think. Nice guy.

I'm glad he's doing well and is a head coach. Not surprised....

That said, she could be a better tactical coach than Mark Turgeon. I don't know. Either way I support the men's coach and I'm back in her corner. She's doing her best of coaching.Today was the biggest win in the women's program since they won the championship in my opinion. I'm sincerely happy for the coach and the players. Through Twitter I kind of made friends with some of the people that depart at the program and or their family members. I support them all. That includes Brenda Frese, so long as she treats her players right. There's coaching and then there's being a good person.

Mark Turgeon is beyond a doubt a good dude in my opinion. So is Scott Brooks.
