I'm not upset that the men's team lost. It was a very winnable game. It hurts their NCAA chances that they did not win.

They lost that game. Indiana hit the boards harder. The Terrapins had a chance to tie at the end. Can't complain.

I hope that the Terrapins football team benefits from the new coaches. They are in the limelight now with their great players.

I'm happy to see Torrey Smith is going to the Superbowl with the Eagles. I'm very happy for Stefon Diggs that he is famous for his catch for Minnesota. He glorified God and dedicated that to his late father. Yannick Ngoue (sp?) was playing great for Jacksonville.

Trevon Diggs made the right choice in choosing Alabama over UMCP. Just like Tua Tagovailoa, who left Hawaii, to go play for Alabama. He's a national champion now.I just hope that Hawaii has the benefit of some great recruiting now. I hope some of the local boys will stay here and play but if not they're going to get good scholarships elsewhere.

Terrapins should be getting some really good recruits. They have some good young NFL pros who are representing the Terrapins Nation well.

It's over. No NCAA's for this team. Cheko was an embarrassment last night getting back in the paint by a guy who is 30 pounds lighter and 5 inches short. Morgan is good but playing on a bad ankle. Morsell gave up the offensive rebound to Morgan after the IU guy missed two FTs. This team sucks on the road. Maybe you might want to play more non-conference road games instead of just neutral ones. Cowan probably is dead tired after playing 40 minutes every night. No backup point guard. Morsell can't do it. He also can't shoot past 5 feet. I'm really not sure that they'll be that much better next season unless the freshmen are really good.

Indiana is not a tournament team either so losing to them is not some moral victory.

Jackson is gone and whether Bender comes back or not due to health, he's not a difference-maker.

He's going pro. He wanted to last season and is not returning to school, whether he gets drafted or not. If he shows well at the combine, he could be a 2nd round pick. But hey, it's not my decision. I'm not saying it's the right one. That's what I've been hearing all season. Smith and Wiggins will have to play a lot.

Jackson is a fool if he leaves Maryland this year.

He and Diamond Stone will be playing each other in a lot of G League games.

Look, some guys would rather toil in anonymity in the minors and make $20-30,000 instead of going to college to make nothing but a free scholarship, free food, free housing, free education and college life. Hmmm, the latter doesn't sound so bad to me but if you just like making some cash for playing hoops, be my guest. If you are poor and have these options, going to the NBA/G-League makes the most sense. I don't know what his situation is.

He stopped going to class (alledgedly) as soon as the first semester was over so even if he had changed his mind he was screwed.

Apparently, he also didn't like the NBA, because he didn't put in enough work to get in NBA shape and learn how to play. He still can, but he's got to want it enough to change.

With all that's going on at Michigan State, I want to see Maryland beat the Spartans before Tom Izzo is forced to give up his job.

He is not looking good. With all that came out I think he has to share some responsibility for the cover-up at Michigan State. Izzo's been there forever but I think he's not going to last.
