Are you purposely in the wrong thread or no? I'm laughing in both scenarios though.

Maybe head scratching lineups weren't Kidd's idea
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

From the JS piece:
"Horst noted that he spoke with everyone on the team either individually or as part of a group before Monday's game about the coaching change. Before meeting with the media, Horst and assistant general manager Milt Newton met with the team in the locker room."
Jesus Christ, I'm trying to imagine Horst talking to the team and I can't do it. There's no way any of those guys take him seriously. Ugh.

Yep. I was done with Kidd but was ready to see what his usual late second half surge yielded. Especially with Jabari coming back. This game is just showing this was more of a braintrust thing than anything. So great. Now we have Prunty... did so well for us when he coached 20 games a couple years back. And now we have our only superstar in 20+ years complaining. Yikes.

I'll give Prunty the benefit of the doubt. This was a late firing. No practices yet, no time to really talk to the team. He has some leash to play with.

His last stint can't be viewed as him running his own team. He was just manning the ship while the main guy was out. He didn't have the authority to 'make the team his own.'
If this kind of lineup action is still happening after the all-star break, it's time to be concerned.

Hope the tax office don't stumble on this when you try to write off deprecation of that sweet, sweet monitor by claiming it's for work purposes only.

true as well. I guess all we can do is hold on. The Giannis angle really concerns me tho.

Re: KIDD FIRED
I watched a bit of the England team in the Eurobasket and there was nothing spectacular about Prunty's coaching, but I didn't notice any crazy mistakes or WTF moments either. Just normal, vanilla, reliable.

I think it says a lot that the smartest guy on the team (Brogdon) had maybe the worst relationship with Kidd.
