I was like, wtf is going on mods!? How many more fire Kidd threads do we need? How many. Other threads do we need where we will bitch about Kidd we already have the fire Kidd the worst coach and all the PG threads. Did the 3rd firekidd thread hit 100 already? But it was just made a couple weeks ago.

Nevertheless I opened it and to my astonishment there was much happiness, and rejoicing. I was like wtf is happening! Then as the fog of sleep began to depart I realized, this isn't another firekidd thread, this is a KiddFIRED thread!

I was so escastic! I felt so freeeeeeeeeeee!

You are free, my friend. Feel the open air. The sunlight upon your skin. Soak.it.up.

I had a Harry Potter flying thru the clouds riding a dragon gif, but it was failing on my phone so I had to delete it.

Also, the best part was while I'm standing in the bathroom unable to brush my teeth as I hurriedly read thru the thread, my first question to myself, "is this real life!?" I wanted to make sure I wasn't still asleep.

Sure enough a moment later my wife knocked on the bathroom door and give me stink eye as to why I'm blocking the bathroom early in the morning, it was enough of a sign to let me know this was all really happening!

Whats a good month to go to Hong Kong might be heading there late this year.

October/November is incredibly beautiful and pleasant weather. March to April is pleasant as well but more cloudy days.

Summers are Florida humid/hot with some rain. Living in south Florida for 10yrs it does not bother me anymore, but if FL summers aren't your thing be aware.

If, yes play hypothetical, giannis is so pissed that Kidd was fired that he demands a trade and won’t play until he is traded. Do you still fire Kidd? Are you now the gm that ran a superstar out of town?

Guys if I say something is never going to happen, It is definitely going to happen.

I didn't think there was any way that America would elect Trump president. We elected Trump President.

I didn't think there was any way the Packers would ever get rid of Dom Capers. We got rid of Dom Capers.

There was no way in hell we were firing Kidd. We fired Kidd.

My compass for what is going to happen is just way off.

BTW- there is no way we are winning the championship this year. :D

Probably not if he is in a contract year. He isn’t. You always do what you think is best for the organization and if you are right you are rewarded with wins and superstars wanting to be on your team.

I guess a congratulations and Merry Christmas are in order for most of you. You got your wish. In fact, all that #FireKidd social media stuff might have actually helped get your wish.

Even though I would have preferred to give Kidd the rest of the season and postseason to see what he could do with a healthy Jabari and/or new center rotation, I get why firing took place now. If the team were to go on a little run here during a weaker stretch of the schedule it would be bad optics to can him later on.

The bizarre strategy to purposely miss a free throw instead of pushing the lead to four, coupled with using the "we're young" excuse for losses one too many times presented the perfect opportunity to let him go. Still really surprised they pulled the trigger during the season.

Due to a couple of major factors, Thon regressing instead of taking the next step, and our suspect bench unit, I still don't share the belief that this group is "underachieving." In fact hovering just above .500 for most of the year seems about right. But with Jabari on the mend and the potential addition of a defensive minded, glass cleaning big, I still have hope to make a little noise in the postseason.

Our front office is still very messy. There is no way "reluctant compromise" Jon Horst quarterbacked the Kidd firing. This came from the owners. I hope they know what they're doing. And I see why Giannis wasn't consulted for this particular move (please, please, please don't backfire) but I hope he's consulted on most things going forward.

Fizdale is my #1 right now.

All it took was for it to actually happen. Mocking people all along the way prior to that, including within the last week.

Glad we can all move on from this though.

Question, why everyone thinks Fizdale is a great coach btw, most of Mavz fans say otherwise.

You think Giannis would seriously consider either not playing (which means he will still be undercontract) or not try hard for 3 years? To be honest, I think there is a 50/50 shot he's gone anyways if we didn't make a move. You can talk about how loyal you are but going from a 19 year old to a 26 year old, you change a lot. Giannis has no ties to Milwaukee and I don't think he owes the organization anything. I thought I was staying with my first company for years but was gone after 3. Is there even one basketball operations guy still here from Giannis's rookie year? The front office, ownership, coaches, and players have all changed. I guess Henson?

If you're playing this hypothetical, what do you think the answer to those questions are? Seem pretty damn obvious.

Instead, you'd restructure his coaching staff, whether he likes it or not, with stronger influence guys to mitigate his ultimate power in the locker room. See if you can get him to leave on his own accord. Politick gonna politick.

Anyways, not the case.
