Wouldn't underestimate the dead coach bounce though. I'm sure the players were extra motivated to play well and not look like the reason Kidd was fired. They probably have more developed talent than us even without Giannis playing anyways too.

Yeah, I thought we had a good chance and I think that graphic can be a little bit misleading since usually Giannis is probably off the floor when other starters are also sitting. Plus a game plan without him is different than how you play when he is resting in game.

And even though they've lost 4 of 5 and 6 of 10 those losses were to the Warriors, Raptors, Heat, Pacers and Sixers and they had recently beaten the Pacers, TWolves, Thunder and Pacers.

Also, any close loss isn't that bad of a loss if Booker shoots 2-14. I'm surprised we were so close considering that and the fact that Brogdon and Middleton had 67 points on like 24 of 33 shooting.

Booker played like he really is one of the worst defensive players in the league. Mistake after mistake after mistake . A really sad sight. I dont get those All star calls yet, although he does play all star D already (game). Always 2-3 feet too close to the basket leaving his man open behind the three point line yeah you get like 1 rebound more per game but winning is better. Also inconsistent effort fighting through screens. Sometimes losing his man. Some possessions just can not be bothered to give any effort.

I am fine if we take a quality pf in this draft if that is what comes to us. Someone is going to have to step up and take the starting role. The opportunity is there. Men aren't built through coddling, otherwise Marines would take their mommies with them to boot camp (hear that Earl).

He's doing what he's being instructed to do out there on offense. I liked his defense last night, even if Brogdon was able to make some very tough layups over him.

Thought we should have tried him at C against Henson and Maker. He's about the same size as those guys.

His 3 pt shooting is good enough this year to open up the offense. And he makes some nice passes at times...but other than that he doesn't look so good on offense...when he is trying to screen...and he really needs to start taking it to the rim when the matchup is right.

On defense he usually looks pretty good and disrupts shots often and sometimes blocks some shots...but it's not real consistent. Hopefully we see some improvement down the stretch and if they rotate next year, they make that big jump in play like many players do in their third year.

Jackson took an step back in his development in this game, he was out of control a few times and took bad decisions.

And Bender was Bender.Not more, not less.

Ulis played his worst game of the season IMO. Really bad with or without the ball and he could not defend Bled at all.
