Thanks for sharing!

Thinking Kidd getting canned decreases the chances of the Bucks bailing on Jabari for a win now piece though.

Wonder if something including other pieces ala Thon Maker / DJ Wilson / Tony Snell might work out, maybe with a 3rd team (sending an ending contract for Snell perhaps) to get the Heat more salary relief?

Here's an example. Put Teletovic in there if Miami prefers him over Henson -- Telly has a year less on his deal vs Henson, and it's looking like he might end up being a medical retirement.

I don't think this team needs to invest in a stud center right now. Would rather have a savvy, vocal guy who keeps the defense organized, sets good picks and boxes out.

I think I'd rather roll the dice on Jabari's knee than including him in a trade for a big man with an injury history.

Yeah that's the direction I thought we were going post-Kidd.

Steve Kyler's record is mixed so hard to know how much to read into him saying we're still targeting the likes of Whiteside and Deandre Jordan.

Thinking a cheaper big man more like Hernangomez / KOQ / Koufos / Randolph / Lopez is still most likely. But if there is a great offer on the table, who knows.

I wonder what it would take to get Nogueira. He's third big behind Valanciunas and Poeltl, is due to an extension and Toronto will already be in luxury territory next year and can't afford him. The advanced stats love him and he's developing a 3-pointer (shooting 85% from the line, 27% from 3 this year). He's not the big body we're looking for, but we could buy very low on him (probably takes like Vaughn and a 2nd or something like that) and we'd get his bird rights. Especially if we have a deal in place for Henson, this could be a solid follow-up. Doubt it takes more than 5-7 million to retain him for multiple years in the offseason, too.

I have zero interest in making win-now moves with an interim head coach in the fold. Let Plumlee prove whether or not he can be an adequate rotation big. Then in the offseason let the new coaching staff evaluate the roster as is, implement his schemes, and see if he can salvage Thon, Wilson, and some of the other young pieces into useful players.

I get the sense that Parker is very much in the long term plans for the Bucks.

Agreed. Suspect most of the Jabari trade talk was leaks from Kidd trying to force the issue -- especially if it could yield a win now Schwartz client ala Deandre Jordan.

I think Dewayne Dedmon belongs at the head of the class for those types of centers that are likely available. But KOQ has the ability to hit 3's, and this team really needs that, because Bledsoe and Giannis need players to space the floor, so the middle isn't clogged with defenders when they drive to the hoop. So, of the players mentioned above, I'd go for KOQ first.

Fire up the Damian Lillard proposals, he apparently met with the owner and let it be known he wants to contend for a championship while he's still in his prime. However, he stopped short of demanding a trade.

If Ernie Grunfeld is looking to wheel and deal I hope we are talking with him given his track record.

After the Washington Wizards defeated the Detroit Pistons on Friday night, John Wall revealed just how a recent players-only meeting went awry. The session was intended for open and honest dialogue but while some players spoke freely, others shut down.

“We had our team meeting,” Wall said Friday. “A couple guys took it the negative way and it hurt our team. Instead of taking it in a positive way like we did in the past and using it to build our team up, it kind of set us back a little bit.”

Wall brought up the meeting as he answered a question about the team’s penchant for not playing with consistent effort.

Wall holds a similar opinion. Players already had a chance to speak their minds, he said. And if games like the Charlotte loss happen again, then 14 guys sitting in a locker room will not be able to fix it. Wall extended his index finger to the ceiling and suggested the issue would have to be promoted to a higher power.

“Upstairs,” Wall said. “Front office got to figure it out.”

And Jalen Rose is saying that Kawai Leonard wants out of San Antonio.

Agreed. Owners love him way too much to let him get away.

Framework would probably start with Bledsoe/Jabari or Bledsoe/Middleton. You can get crazy after that.

Damn, the senility's coming quicker than I thought. Not sure why I thought KOQ had 3 point range.

I mean they're 2.9 over the tax and we can absorb up to 4.1 so we could get them out of the tax, which is another aspect.

Not really interested. He can stay in Portland.

Now if Kawhi is available....go get him.
