Yeah let’s instead just believe all the fan theories that have been concocted since Horst got the job. Much more reliable.

Even if it is present, that's three young men with a very high level of maturity, from everything we've seen. They'll sort it out.

Pretty fitting considering they were one of the few relatively bigger non-Bucks media people ripping on Kidd early on.

Might be my favorite one out there.

Maybe Horst could sense some discontent amongst ownership w/ Kidd and went for it.

Ffs the team was sorely underperforming and Kidd tried to say expectations were too high. Should have been canned right there.

I hated Kidd but as more and more reports surface, he was an even worse coach than I thought.

The reports confirm what I think the majority of posters here thought of Kidd, an egomaniacal **** with below average intelligence. He was a cancer and should have been dealt with long before yesterday.

I remember reports earlier in the season that Jabari didn’t feel like part of the team and wasn’t included in team activities. This now checks out, it was because of Kidd.

Everything is making more sense and it was even worse than we thought. I’m happier every hour that passes now that Kidd is gone.

Frankly, Thon's a wee bit to far right on that x axis and a little to far above that lower left quadrant for my liking.

Not a good career move for Kilpatrick to dance on Kidd's grave, but his happy dance does hint at some of the soap opera things being discussed here.

Hoping for better days ahead and a more collegial tone here.

This is real GM not the good old boys club Sid. Collegiality was necessary for Save Our Bucks, not so much anymore. Quite honestly the collegial speak about wanting Kidd gone could have very much sparked conversation.

Sounds like you're advocating for the style of interaction that reportedly got Kidd fired.

He should have been fired last January at the bottom of that awful stretch. Saved by that contract extension.

Kidd told people to “f*** off”. As a professional who is also competitive, burning the bridge when you have no other option to get across to the other side is silly. Yes there were hyper aggressive attitudes in this situation in regards the lobbying of his being canned, but I am unsure about your conjecture of me wanting kidd to “f*** off”. His recklessness, or lack of attention resulted in his downfall. I would say a good amount of people looked at this from an objective point of view.

How much blind the Bucks fans can be and most certainly are it is something that time will tell very soon I am afraid.

My guess is that they will feel the same way the natives felt when they saw the Conquistadors’ firepower for the first time in their life and they realized they were fighting with wooden sticks and arrows while the Spaniards had the steel swords and the muskets…

I'm going to go out on a limb here but I'm going to propose your analogy is a tad strong. It's a creaky limb, I know, but I'm walking out! :o

I think it's fairly obvious Kidd didn't want to be here anymore, we've heard it before, great players have problems being head coaches because they can't relate to lesser player, don't understand how they can't get it, now throw in younger, inexperienced guys and its a bad fit.

I have no idea how much power, if any, Horst has, but know one thing, his job is to take all bullets for the ownership group. Horst could've loved or hated Kidd, doesn't matter, as far as everyone knows Horst fired him, whether he actually did or didn't.

Yup. If we would have been willing to wait until the offseason I could see Kidd quitting -- especially if he had an exit strategy.

But his performance was so poor it forced the issue.

Suspect the question of whether or not to trade Jabari for a win now piece was a primary point of contention too now that he is set to return.

Or, ya know, wait for a credible journalist to report on it. If you listen to this idiot you get what you deserve.

After reading all the stuff on Horst ousting Kidd, I don't know if I am ready to say I was 100% wrong on the GM hire, HOWEVER He is nailing all the big moves. I am running alongside the bandwagon right now. If he adds a starting center for cheap I will be ready to jump on.

I agree with that. What I'm talking about is the injection of rancor into the discussion and the likelihood that future discussions here will generally be less rancorous with the Kidd issue behind us.

This may be the dumbest analogy I've ever seen. Well done.
