Great day for the tank overall today.
In addition to the Magic winning, the Lakers and Nets also got Ws, which does nothing but hurt our Eastern counterparts as far as the draft is concerned.

I still maintain these guys could be useful trade assets if we could acquire them for cheap.

Bingo bango. They're on the block for a reason. You can trust the coupla-week production or you can trust the coupla-year(s) ineptitude.

Kings pick up a dub against the Magic. We sit at 14-32 while Orlando and Sacramento are each at 14-33. We desperately need to pick up some Ls in the upcoming games.

I'd love for Love to get out of Cleveland.
The Cavs are going downhill quickly and the finger pointing is being directed at Kevin Love from what I have grasped.

Boston lost to the Lakers last night.
Irving shying from taking the game winner? It's nice to see him trust his teammates to keep the game close but the leader needs to take the game winner during the final seconds.

IT and Crowder were huge beneficiaries of a great system in Boston.

^YES!!!
It's incredibly easy to overlook how effective an offense coach Brad Stevens is.
And the <gulp> spacing/passing provided by Horford is something that can't be over-estimated.
(That was really hard to admit.)

I'm gonna say it's Lue that can't bring out anything in his guys...hate to bash an X Hawk but he's about to get canned.

Yes! Lue is one of the main problems for Cleveland and so is Lebron James.
If any other team had the issues Cleveland does the media would be all over the superstar on the team. In this case, Lebron is considered the best player in the world, and nobody is speaking on it, so the blame is being placed on Kevin Love.

Re: 2018 -- NBA Games Thread
This can't be true, right?
I mean, that’s crazy,” Lue said. “If Kevin was out there we might have given up 170. Who knows, man. We’ve got to be better, got to just stay together. We’re being tested right now. This is when your true character comes out and the character of who you are as a person and as a player. We’ve got to step up and play basketball.”

I saw that too but he just kind of misspoke. He's referencing the idea that the team was blaming Love for not playing and getting blown out, and basically he's trying to say that missing Love wasn't the reason they got blown out. It was not playing as a team. Saying they would have given up 170 with Love looks bad but that's not really what he meant.
Love is a true pro though and honestly i think the guy is a lot smarter than some of his teammates. He doesn't get defensive because he sees through their bull. The guy isn't a great defender but i've never seen him dogging it or taking plays off. The same can't be said for Lebron, IT, JR, Frye. Those guys are playing games/screwing around this season and it never mattered before. It might this time.

I'm not a Lebron supporter by any means, but you have to admit that Kevin Love is not the same Kevin Love that was on the Wolves. I'm not sure what happened to the guy, he lost all confidence in his game and became half as effective as he can be and just a glorified jump shooter. Perhaps it's because Lebron is the entire defense and as a result, his teammates just become role players...
At this point if I'm the Cavs, I try and call the Clippers for a Lou Williams/Love centered swap. Having said that, uncle Lou doesn't play a lick of defense either.
They are certainly in a bind no doubt.
