Right now we're not missing anything.

But it would still be nice to have him playing the way he was last year in that run during the playoffs.

Dion off the bench as a scorer and defender is a valuable piece. Contract under current NBA terms isn't bad if healthy. Love Goran but come playoff time, I fear him a bit. With 2 minutes left in a close game in the playoffs, Dion is one of our better options.

Hell no!

I trust Goran in the clutch in the playoffs. I lived in PHX when he went off on Houston in the playoffs. Plus remember he has won a championship. I know it is not the same as an NBA championship but the pressure of the moment is the same.

I don’t think it’s really fair to judge dion’s production this season. He clearly was not healthy, and no one is to blame. He gave it a shot, but the surgery is necessary. Get it over with now and come back next season.

A healthy dion appears to be legit on this team. I’m more concerned with the prospect of him being injury prone on a multi year deal than I am of his production or fit on the roster. It was clearly working out

define decent chunk? a quarter?

Because he was hot garbage for a huge chunk and only played 40 games

Riley got hustled..period

He is who he has always been

We were far better off giving Wade the Kobe deal and have a huge expiring come off. Everyone hopped on Dion's jock but i knew it would haunt the Heat. What's funny is that at his ripe age Wade still the better player. Ironically hes also been more healthy the past two years.

Apparently he had a pre-existing fracture they fixed and found while repairing his ankle. That could be a very good thing. God I hope he develops a reliable floater. He gets in the lane too easily to not use one to his advantage.

Definitely want to see what’ve he can do next season. His spot shouldn’t be secure though. He has to fight for it.

He was all kinds of bad this year without question.

But he was playing hurt.

People forget how good he was last year and how much better we played with him out there. Something may need to be done with the money he and TJ are making and the fact they play the same position, but Waiters isn’t a guy we should be clamoring to give away. He’s not a bad contract imo.

He's pretty secure. He's pretty young, he's not a bum, and he's on a decent contract for a starter or even a 6/7/8 guy. As long as we're not building our team around him or letting him live out his Kobe/Wade fantasies, he's good and we're good.

Yes it’s true he has been hurt this year but it is also fair to question how good he was during our stretch being healthy. Ideally he comes back healthy next season after the trade season and plays with a renewed passion.

TJ is a negative assets that will need at least a first round draft pick to move.
