If Kuz keeps playing like this, would you consider trading BI in order to get a Boogie cousins or Anthony Davis? Switch Kuz to the 3 and try to get Bron or PG13 in?

There’s no reason to trade value for Cousins and as far as Davis is concerned, you’re not getting him for Ingram.

The deal I keep hearing is Lopez & Clarkson for K Love & Fry... K Love has 2 years after this season (PO in last year)... The question is, Does Magic think K Love is an All Star? K Love makes $10 million a year more than Clarkson with same length... I would envision K love playing allot of 5 with Kuzz at the 4 & Ingram at the 3... PG at the 2 with Ball... I am worried about his back & age but it is definitely interesting...

The thing is, he won't keep playing like this... He hasn't done it all season long, no reason to expect him to now... He's a average to poor defender and a streaky shooter, who, if his shot isn't falling to start a game, can't shoot himself into it either... His streak is a game... He's either hot or completely cold. And given his defensive issues, when he's cold, he's virtually a negative on the court.

Yes, he's a rookie... No, there's no reason to worry right now... Yes, there's every reason to be thrilled about him...

But none of this adds up to "We should trade Ingram because we have Kuz and he's a stud." Too early.

All that said... In the current environment we have in Laker land, I don't think either one of them is safe. But it's less about them and more about the vision the FO has for this team going forward.... Which IMO is; "Let's keep Ball, but do anything beyond that we can to land LeBron and another max guy like PG or KLeonard"...

That's not the real question, the real question is; "Why would LeBron come to LA to play with Love?"

Love and LeBron seem to barely tolerate each other... Can't see them wanting to play here together... Now if LeBron isn't coming, Love would be a nice second-tier near max guy to consider.

I'd love to have Kevin Love. Dude is a beast as a first option.

Would be ecstatic if we could get Love. I actually consider him a realistic target if we sign PG and miss out on anyone else, especially if Lebron leaves (and obviously doesn't come here). Can't see the cavs wanting to keep Love, and Ican't see Love wanting to stay there. We'll probably be on his short list too, especially with PG. At that point I think it becomes about if we are willing to trade Kuz to get him...Ingram and Lonzo are obviously off the market, and the Lakers surely won't start their offer with Kuz, but that's who the Cavs would be asking for, and probably a future first or two.

Locking this one up because it's gone beyond the 100pg threshold... We'll use the Deadline thread for now and then create a new trade ideas thread after we've added a couple stars and what-not...
