What happened to Tristan Thompson? Cav's seem eager to dump his salary. Seemed to me like he was a good defensive bruiser that wasn't worth the contract but wasn't a bad player. Kardashian effect?

His body gave up on him. The double edged sword of playing on a perennial contender. He’s 27

Initial response on the Wizards board is positive at the prospect of sending Gortat to Milwaukee.

Seems like we could get Gortat for as little as a straight swap for Henson or for Thon + Teletovic.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

He looked out of shape to me the last time I saw him play. Too many fine dinners out with Chloe in LA.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

I brought up love+ for midds+ and cavs fans wanted nothing to do with it. Said IT was who they wanted gone and if they trade love, it'll be to blow it up

I dont want it to happen really but a Bledsoe and Delly for Brooklyn pick and TT might work for them, would need to match salaries. On second thought the Cavs probably dont want that, but LeBron said he wants Bledsoe

IF we could swap Delly for TT - I would do that, but that involves us taking on salary which we cant do.

We could do a huge 4 team trade ( that never happens)

Bucks get: TT/Evans
Cavs get: Gasol/Zbo/Carter/Delly
Kings get: Telly/Fry
Grizzles get: Love/Wilson

Snell for Gortat. Does that make sense?

Ringer just wrote an article how they should be interested in moving a big for a wing.

Gortat seems to be done. At least that is what Wizzards fans on this board said.

I had a dream last night, but it had nothing to do with basketball. But then I woke up and realized how much I hate watching Khris Middleton. Let's just flip him already. He's probably at peak value and that contract is gravy.

Gortat is still one of the more underrated pick & roll bigs in the league. If you want your rich man's 2014 Zaza, he's your guy.

Assume Teletovic is forced to retire and is removed from the payroll early in the 2018-2019 season.

Los Angeles Clippers Trade:
DeAndre Jordan
Sam Dekker
Lou Williams
Willie Reed

Los Angeles Clippers Receive:
Evan Turner
Mirza Teletovic
Zach Collins
Thon Maker
2019 Unprotected First Round Pick

Portland Trailblazers Trade:
Evan Turner
Zach Collins
Mo Harkless
Ed Davis
2019 Unprotected First Round Pick

Portland Trailblazers Receive:
DeAndre Jordan
Tony Snell
Sam Dekker
Willie Reed

Milwaukee Bucks Trade:
Mirza Teletovic
Tony Snell
Thon Maker

Milwaukee Bucks Receive:
Ed Davis
Lou Williams
Mo Harkless

Los Angeles Reasoning:
Los Angeles doesn't think Jordan or Williams will resign and decides to move on with their eventual rebuilt. In the process, they load up on a young big assets including Collins whom may ultimately be the hinge in this deal as far as what LA thinks of him, Thon Maker a potential stretch five, and a completely unprotected first round pick. ALT OPTIONS: (Change year/protection on the pick) (Swap in the Johnson, Harrell, for Nurkic in lieu of pick)

Portland Reasoning:
They get Deandre Jordan, they don't touch their core, and roll the dice on keeping him. Unloading Turner is a big win for them as is upgrading from Harkless who's struggled from distance to Snell who has not.

Milwaukee Reasoning:
Milwaukee facilitates this deal by getting two rotation pieces for their playoff push while shortening financial commitments and providing, what is by all accounts, an expiring contract to fill salary gaps. They hope Harkless shoots the ball better.

He isn’t even close in defense or high post passing to Zaza and aside from 14 games of Plumlee two years ago what % ofpnr offense have we run? Gortat is ok but he isn’t a step up from what we have he’s sideways at best offensively and backwards on D
