Kinda my thought. Not gonna get much for him imo.

Any chance Braun moves to 1B? Santana, Cain, Yelich then the OF with Phillips #4.

Braun did say in an interview with Matzek he would be open to moving in from the OF is the team asked.

That'd be incredible.

Yeah, Broxton ain't bringing s***. He's garbage and there isn't a sucker GM/scout that doesn't know it.

I really hope we find out that the 5th year has a team option built in with a reasonable buyout.

Braun will be off books so that does assist in that. I also maintain theres probably an option or buyout at the 5th year.

Probably figured since Yelich is cheap the outfield should cost too much even with just Cain. There's a real chance he falls off but who knows

This seems like something you might want to have figured out before you acquire two starting outfielders in the span of an hour. Hopefully they have the framework of something already in place.

It would be **** wild if both Brinson and Phillips are gone and Santana is the one who sticks around.

Don't like those tweets that they're shopping them now. I really think that deal should be done already. You just killed Santana's trade value.

Given how quickly the first two moves came together and how all week we heard about the domino effect of the Yelich deal, probably safe to say the Brewers have an idea of what they'll get for Santana.

Gonna miss Maverick, though. That gun of his is absurd.

If they don't screw around and really actually go all in then I don't give a damn about prospects or money. Get a couple arms and lets have some fun.

I know we're all expecting Braun to stick around, but for real how insane would it be if they sent him...like, anywhere...and gave LF to Santana.

The problem is Braun controls if he leaves. The other problem is who's going to want him after an injury plagued average year with a ton of money still on his contract?

This and the fact he's one of if not the most hated player in the league by every fan base outside mil. He's as unreadable as it gets.

**** this deal. **** Stearns. I think I'm done with the Brewers for a while. Please win the Cup this year Preds. That will get me through early to mid June. Pool at my apartment is open until Labor Day and that will take care of almost the whole season.

Yelich was phenomenal on the road the last couple years. They definitely gave up too much, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was an .850 OPS guy the season.

We're gonna find out in a few days that Stearns was tied up and locked in a closet while Attanasio decided to play.

Stop giving him the time of day, he's getting punked on BF too for trolling and whining. He knows nothing about this game, I am convinced.

He knows plenty. I don't always agree with him but he has some completely legitimate concerns.

I'll just put it on the record - I would not have made either one of these moves. I'm not as high on Brinson as some people are, but I'm also not as high on Yelich. Cain has had injury issues that will likely flair up as he gets older, limiting his value (especially defensively).

But I'll keep my faith in Stearns. He's earned the right to take some risks, as far as I'm concerned. As long as it isn't Attanasio bugging him to make these moves, I can deal with it.

His concern is that Brinson becomes a player he has never been projected to be, so no, there's no concern there. Especially relative to Yelich who is the superior player.

Also to call Cain an above average contact hitter...based on WRC... because obviously anything above 100 is "above average..." he's a troll.

I'm going to miss Domingo. If we're doing this all-in thing, which we obviously are, I wish we could have found a way to keep him. God damn Braun.

I'd be perfectly happy to try one of those two out at 1B, but it makes more sense to trade Domingo with his high value and keep Phillips as another lefty and 4th OF
