President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

So, you are saying that the Trumpers who really aren't Rs per se are goons and the real Rs are prosecuting Trump.
No argument...
Yep, but still Rs, no?
The issue isn't just values it is governance. And the Ds have been just as bad and incompetent as the Rs. I think the majority of voters have already realized that both parties are essentially corrupt. I just think you have your blinders on for one of the parties.
DC, no. There is no contradiction here.
What you're missing is that the GOP has transformed over the last two decades.
Someone who values small government isn't inherently bad or evil, but if their value of small government enables them to look beyond all of the vile crimes against humanity put forth by Trump and the GOP, that is bad. I don't know how Mueller or Comey would have voted in 2016 - or more importantly how they'd vote in 2020, but they're ostensibly apolitical valuers of truth, and that seems adequate for investigating political crimes of either party.
The GOP of 2018 is not the same as the Republican party of 1998. Voting for GWB is not the same thing as voting for Trump. I don't condemn anyone who was a Republican in 1998, but we've got an issue if you stand by the GOP in 2018.
That you are quoting G Elliot Morris to say the Ds haven't moved as far left as the Rs have moved right just proves my point.
Most are looking for SUSTAINABLE government - not "small" government. And neither party has been able to wrap their corrupt heads around this... and certainly not the Ds of 1998 and even LESS so now.
Let's face it neither party is interested in sustainable government. Republicans have shown that they are in no way deficit hawks or care about the debt. It's either you go with Republicans and sign off on the government funneling money to millionaires and billionaires and running up the military budget or you go with Democrats and have the government spend on healthcare, education and social services.

According to the very stable geniuses on this board Russia is a smokescreen and nothing to see. Why would the Trump fire not one but two people investigating his campaign over a nothing burger?

Nate/SD20 will argue it's simply Trump's right to fire whomever he wants, and he cannot obstruct justice as there was obviously no crime committed here!

as will alan dershowitz. And the supreme court will back us up on this. I mean come on man!!! The supreme court will absolutely see this as NOT obstruction of justice. He is in charge of this department. The leader. You have a house intel and a senate intel committee.
we've gone from collusion to obstruction. and the supreme court will NOT see this as obstruction.
So you have collusion or you dont. And if you dont? its time to move on.
and by move on, i do indeed mean a full blown late night investigation into the entire Obama DOJ that goes all the way back and ties into the (ongoing!!

and let the chips fall where they may. let the finger pointing begin. Sunshine on all if it. expose it all. the american people deserve to know what these globalists had in mind for our country and our constitution. Full transparency.
like i said, its a full rebuild.

Jesus that word salad is just further evidence of this man's deteriorating mental state. The only thing more amazing is how he managed to fool so many people into voting for him.

from way back when 7 months ago. You have to prove "intent." Trump would have to say that the intent of firing comey or any other obstruction case was to avoid criminal prosecution.
Building on the "holt interview, trump can simply say I fired Comey because I didn't like how russian collusion investigation was going. "I didn't like how slow it was going. I wanted to hire an FBI director to get to the bottom of it!" STAT!!" Comey was dragging his feet. I want justice in this matter of collusiongate and I want it thorough and STAT."
That's all trump has to say. And if i were trump i would tear Mueller a new one along the way. for example, I would do it on live TV. and I would ask Mueller directly, The FBI and now you have been at this for 14 months, did you find any collusion?" Nothing" At all" right!?" Nothing!!" And I would just keep going and going and going after Mueller, Comey, mccabe, strzok, Page, Ohr(and his wife) with every single one of my answers. And I would bring physical evidence with me of their collusion with fusion, Steele, and russians and spend the entire time undressing mueller in front of the american public. Loudly, emphatically, and with evidence to back everything up. Just undress him, his entire FBI and obama DOJ. I'm talking full blown, wet dream, come true. And trump is just the man to do it. I know he is game. So I hope it happens.
But yeah, Interview or no interview, i dont think trump admits to this "intent." So you got no obstruction just on merit let alone the entire constitutional debate. trump would have to no longer want to be president and tired of dealing with this worse than hollywood shuffle and bullshxt in the washington DC swamp to have any chance of getting an obstruction case against him.
like i said, its a full rebuild.
