I think we should shut cody down for the season and get him healthy for next year so he can be at full strength before he gets hurt again

I really like Cody's fit stylistically with Kemba, and think he's better than he's given credit for... when healthy.

He just can't stay healthy. We've blown past the "bad luck" excuse. He can't stay healthy enough to be depended upon long term

that's a better timeline than I expected. Sounds like Kemba's midseason surgery from a few years back. I hope (and expect to be disappointed) that our staff only lets him back in games when he's 100%

Are they removing part of his meniscus or repairing? If it is a repair job, rather than just trimming away a bit of the meniscus, it may take much longer than just 6 weeks for him to be fully himself again.

Out for the season if it’s anything similar to the lengthy indefinite wait or last year.

I have this theory that guys who are fragile like Cody really shouldn't play more than 2 games per week. Like if you try to play him every game he winds up missing 30 games anyway... Why not just regularly schedule rest games for him? We'd be fine with Frank playing backup C occassionally and stealing a few extra minutes out of Dwight/Irish Kobe/Marv if necessary.

I don't get teams investing hundreds of millions of dollars into their rosters and then running these guys into the ground every year. It makes no sense to me.

In soccer you see teams rest guys all the time.

Cody the only player that don’t come back early from injuries. Smart man. But damn he need some milk.

I honestly think he should go bald and get tattoos that cover his head. He’d be like the new age Scott Pollard.

I'm fully expecting him to look like Floki from Vikings next season:

And I would be okay with that. Got to rock the eyeliner though.

Poor Cody. Apparentely, he is now forced to offer himself in sacrifice to appease the Gawds

Up until tonight I considered Cody part of the core of this team that I would really want to keep. When he's on the court the team just seems to play so much better. But it's that "when he's on the court" that has me down.

Is it time for the team to move on from Zeller this summer?

Trade for Noel. Right Cho’s wrongs.

Of course Noel is a FA but not many teams are gonna have money to play with so sign-and-trades will run rampant this offseason.

I mean he’s practically a better version of Cody as a floor running jitterbug that’s a plus defender. Don’t let the politics fool you. Dallas is only not playing him because he turned down their contract offer and won’t allow him to audition for the next team on their bill.
