Well, he did get a reply from Steph Curry looking to join up. Some people actually communicate through social media.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

Something tells me the owner of the Panthers is not communicating through social media about the sale of his franchise. Diddy just wants attention and to remind everyone how rich he is. If he wants to buy the team why is he talking about it on social media just contact the owner and talk business. Just my take on it

Diddy about to cover BOA stadium with furry walls. It's going to look like a werewolf.

How bad do you have to be, to fall out of the chinese league?

Well, you know.. the international gig can be extremely tough for Americans. Tyler might have been doing his thing, hustling, grabbing rebounds and scoring some, yet they told him that they need someone who can average 30. Especially with the crazy stats that they have going on in that league.

he just got axed by Sydney, I watched him play, has all the physical tools but has the mentality and demeanour of toddler.
Lot's of pathetic dummy spits, easy to suck into foul trouble and then he yells at the coach for not attacking the ref more.

can't imagine the good euro leagues putting up with him.

I don't know whether you're a big enough NBL fan for me to ask this, yet do you remember Marcus Timmons? Played for a bunch of years there, now has settled in Australia for life.

He was here in Latvia for half a year, has gone down in the league's history as a definite top-5 foreigner.

absolutely, he played most of his career at Melbourne then came over to Perth to help us for a finals campaign and ended up winning the finals MVP.

Perth Wildcats tried to sign him for the next season but he signed elsewhere. Andrew Vlahov was part owner of the team at the time and, being the bully that he is, first game against him Timmons got an open 3 so Vlahov just steam rolled him. How it wasn't called a flagrant foul I don't know as it looked bad. Didn't overly hurt him though.

So I'm playing FIFA and the most hilarious thing ever just happened,

In euro league group stage, in the 88th minute a defender on the other team back passes the ball to the keeper from around midfield (I was trying to push him off the ball) this happens all the time so I didn't think anything of it while the ball is traveling to the keeper.....and then the keeper literally jumps over the ball and it goes in the net.

The only way it could be funnier is if it eliminated them from advancing, they already were though.

From the Charlotte Observer

“Our intent is to stay here in Charlotte. But it will be up to the mayor and the City Council if we stay here or go somewhere else because we need to build a new building,” Sabates, 72, said.

That kind of scares me. Hate how these guys are so hellbent on building a new stadium. I don't think Charlotte's going to spend over a billion dollars for a new one, especially after they just paid for all those upgrades. Besides, BOA is still a really nice stadium in a great location. They could probably get another 15-20 years of good use out of it, at least.

That's awesome! I'm actually doing an oral history series on the first foreign players in Latvia. Definitely wish that I get to speak to him. If I do, I'll use stuff like this (especially due to Vlahov's connection to Latvia) to butter him up, show that I'm prepared.

Here he was a part of a 96-97 Broceni team which got stopped in the European Cup only be the eventual champions Barcelona. They won on the road, yet lost in the aggregate. Him and a big by the name of Fred Ferguson were the type of American stars who in a way introduced the concept of real quality basketball alongside timely show elements. Timmons is remembered as one heck of an all-around player, too good for the league here.

So up to this day if you mention Broceni, foreign players or just the 90s, the duo of "Timmons and Ferguson" definitely will come up.

Recently read a great book about Louisville's unsuccessful attempts at getting an NBA team of over than 30 years. Charlotte was a big part of it as they had basically agreed to bring the Hornets there, yet their mayor just didn't exhibit any leadership to bring the deal home.

Reminds me of what you wrote.

New Panther's owner moves team to city that will pay for new stadium
Hornets move to Seattle and rebrand
Deregulation leads to major banking collapse

Wasn't quite sure where to post this, but I actually got a chance to meet Bismack last night at an Orlando Magic event (Jonathan Isaac as well). The whole Magic team made an appearance at the Orlando Museum of Art. I asked Biz what he missed most about Charlotte and he said 'sweet tea.' Really, really nice guy - he went on to tell me that one of his best basketball memories was going from the 7 win season to the playoffs. Isaac also seems like a really great kid - I joked around about trading for him in 2K - he wanted to know how "we" were doing :)

Was really weird hanging out with Gordon, Vooch, Speights, etc...

EDIT: some more random things; Vooch, Gordon, and Biz all sort of hung out alone - there was a larger clique of players (Ross, Fournier, Speights, Augustin, Birch, Hezonja) that all kind of hung in a group. It was a semi-dressy event (I was forced to put on a coat) and the players put in varying degrees of effort - Speights gets the worst dressed award - a wrinkled short sleeve button down and old pair of Vans. Gordon made an effort (shirt and tie) but his shirt was solid white in the front, solid black in the back - he looked like he just stepped off the set of a low-budget sci fi movie. Funniest moment - Vogel got up and introduced each player to the room one by one - had a little something to say about each of them. Called Hezonja by the name, "Super Mario," so I guess that's a thing. When he wrapped up the intros and was leaving the stage the crowd reminded him he forgot Biz. Biz played it up and the two of them hugged it out. Anywho - fun night.

I just found out Taylor Momsen (singer in "The Pretty Reckless " band) was Cindy Lou Who in the grinch stole Christmas.

That was, um unexpected to say the least.

MJ distracts Cavs with promise of Kemba being on the market. Cavs focus on Walker. Charlotte dosen't move Kemba. LeBrons team doesn't have a 5th championship worth winning trade deadline. Jordan punks 'Bron from the GM street.

I dunno, I like Hill alongside Lebron, Hood, Clarkson and Nance are all handy too.

Hoods been great lately.
