It is because he is trying to hit a homerun and when a player tries to hit a HR he can go through a slump. This is different though because in the playoffs he doesn't try to hit it out every pitch.

man, you really hate the yankees dont you?

you're the one making all the threads proclaiming the yankees would be no where without his bat... its one thing to be down on a team or player, but nothing good ever comes out of your posts. I suppose all this losing combined with the circus act that has been the knicks has really gotten to your head.

ARod mind is set on hittin this HR and after he hits this HR, he will be back 2 normal and dominate like he use 2

Not enough space for him in the lineup. If he plays Damon sits or Melky sits. But then what happens with Giambi coming back? I just hope Giambi doesn't come back, remember last year when we were playing so well until Sheffield came back and forced his way to the lineup, hurting the chemistry while Joe sits Melky. I just want to know whats going to happen with Melky, Damon, Shelley, Giambi, Phillips, Cairo & Mientkewitz??
