This is absolutely awful, always sucks when anyone gets an injury like that, let alone one of the league's top players. Also pretty much kills the Pelicans as a factor this season just when they were hitting their stride.

Here's hoping the MRI somehow reveals that this is not a very serious injury after all, but it did looked terrible...

I was thinking that lebron, George and cousins in LA was a strong possibility.

Now I don’t think that’s going to happen unfortunately, unless cousins comes back 100%, but I don’t think players ever fully recover from that type of injury.

Look at Wesley Matthews, he used to be good before his injury.

Hoping for the best he was really starting to get away from his bad habits and the team was looking great. Free agency will be interesting with him now - i’m guessing Pels will still max him which could be bad

Just awful, Pelicans chance was starting to look like a success and Boogie was gonna have his first playoff appearance. He'll be back though, Achilles isn't the end anymore as has been said.

he's a big man who doesnt really rely on explosion... he will have to play like Zach Randolph for a while, which he definitely can... basically, back to the basket... bang bodies and score down low... and Cousins is great at that.
