WTF is with all the troll and burner accounts in here talking sh*t about a potential career ending injury?!?

GTFO! You guys seriously deserve to be banned.

The only douchebag here is you.

All I said was that I didn't feel bad for him and that Karma caught up with him. BS reason for trying to get me banned.

I didn't love that either, but now that's karma? Really?

Just kidding. I just want to take this moment to mock those who inevitably will. At the end of the day its just basketball guys, and despite the sorrows Cousins will get his millions. There are more important things in life to be outraged about.

This sort of nonsense says a lot more about what sort of person you are than the person that Cousins is.

This and the thing about prayer has been the two things that have encouraged me.

Yeah, when mine happened my foot went totally limp. My achilles shriveled up on the back of my leg like a snake. At the top of my heel at the base of where my achilles was no longer attached there was a divot-like hole.

If his foot didn't go limp then maybe it was just a partial tear. Devastating injury either way...

Hope and pray the guy recovers.

 So that justifies trolling? I get not earning strikes over trolls, but if people want to troll, they're at risk of getting grief. That's how it works.

Hmm, are you sure you'd rather be called a black knight?

The former has admirable courage and tenacity but I'd refuse to be associated with a Martin Lawrence film if it were me.

the only positive here is that Cousins is 27. Which is on the young side of achilles injuries

The average age of players with Achilles injuries is 30. And Dominique Wilkins turned out fine after his. Now it depends on the degree of the tear but people assumed the worst with the Hayward injury too, and he looks like he's progressing better than anybody hoped.

I'm just trying to stay optimistic here.

Dude this seriously sucks. That injury is scary and sometimes career altering for players. What a blow to the league

Mine snapped clean playing full court on a Sunday, got a MRI on Monday, surgery that Friday, 6 months later I was back to normal. Clean tears are better then ruptures.
