That really, really sucks for Cousins, especially heading into free agency.

Big bummer for Cousins who was starting to finally have some fun winning in the NBA.

I guess Paul George makes the all star team.

How do you even manage that in terms of FA?

Devastating for Cousins, the Pelicans franchise & NBA fans, but at least Omer Asik's moment has finally arrived.

Wes Matthews still got paid, so will Cousins I think.

Might be the toughest injury to come back from though right? Can't think of many who returned the same post Achilles.

An Achilles can be diagnosed really easily. You can test it on yourself if you can relax well.

Rest your lower leg on your opposite knee, like your leg is crossed. Squeeze your calf, and the foot will move down. If the Achilles is gone it won't move down. Generally athlete will describe it like someone hit them hard on the low calf. They'll often swing around looking for someone to give one back to. Sometimes you can hear it-will get described as a 'gunshot'.

MRI will be to see how far it's retracted.

Either way he's getting surgery and his game will never be the same. Horrible for him.

I love the Pels. Probably watched more of their games than ours this season thanks to Kidd. This is such a disaster ****. This is pretty much at the top of the list of things I didn't want to happen in the NBA.

I can't believe it.

I love having doctors on the forum. This is **** depressing, but it's helpful.

Wes Matthews signed his deal with the Mavericks roughly 4 months after he tore his achilles. With free agency beginning in July, presuming Boogie has his surgery pretty soon here, he will be around 5 months into his rehab.

Oh man, if I was a doctor I may actually be able to afford to get to Milwaukee again :D

Thanks tho. Yeah, it really sucks for Boogie.

Baddy was being humongously sarcastic. He's been a huge fan of Boogie for years and I'd suggest this is his way of trying to deal.

It's devastating.

Just sarcasm, dude. Boogie is almost on the Patty Mills level in Baddy's eyes.

Is Enes Kanter's goal to get the entire NBA to hate him or something?

That's what I was gonna say, I'd still sign boogie. Not max but I'd make him a good offer and wait for him.

No reason Boogie can't be Sabonis, Sr.
