I've said this many times before, and i will say it again. The NBA is not a developmental league. These coaches are trying to win games and keep their jobs, they don't have time to hold the hands of someone who is inexperienced. It's easy for us fans to say "Tank". But in reality, these players and coaches are trying to win. And if you're not contributing to that, then you won't see the floor. Simple as that.
everyone thinks its 2k and theres no repercussions from tanking on purpose. FO, coaches, players dont tank. its not a real option. nobody wants to come play for a team that would want to play that way. including rookies. fans wont want to buy tickets for teams that lose on purpose and so on and so on. its a stupid ass notion that this board doesnt understand.
How are the Suns or Sacramento managing then?

You can find high end talent more times than not in the late lottery. This will be another deep draft where quality players will be available. This team doesn't need to tank.
I know this. Everyone knows this. But there is more of a chance of better talent higher up. There just is.
Have the Knicks drafted that adeptly lately? Not terrible, but last I checked, they weren't killing it with picks. I guess we have to hope that this is truly a different front office and one of those that gets players like Mitchell (whoops), Levine, Thompson, Leonard, Freek or George at 10
