He's starting and he didn't want to go through the regular starters' presentation where he goes and gets greeted by teammates. Just stayed to the side in the dark.

He's an egotistical **** isn't he?

I don't know. If they are talking behind his back and in front of media about his shot selection and stuff...

With that said... before his time in Boston there were rumors swirling around that he's not the easiest player to get along with, so I don't know...

Boston fans on reddit are saying he was doing the same thing in Boston and that it's just "his thing"

Yeah I just saw that on Twitter but he has become less likable IMO.

Roberson just got injured for the Thunder. Damn. Reported ruptured patellar tendon... out for the season.

Hood would be a fantastic replacement for them. He doesn’t provide the defense, but Hood would fit in perfect as the 3-4 offensive option in the starting lineup. He would get plenty of open looks from Westbrook.

Any thoughts on Trey Burke? He's playing well right now for the Knicks.

I ask only because you guys would know more than any other fanbase about him...

Small sample size but he's a real penetrator and seems to be passing the ball well too ( P&R especially).

I'm not incredibly high on him or exited as a Knicks fan because he lost his spot as John Wall's back-up to Brandon Jennings just last year!!

And he's taking minutes away from Frank Ntilkina who needs a TON of PT for his development.

But I will take anything you guys say about him, good or bad, to heart.

As I said, knowing him better than any other fanbase.

Thanks in advance.

Don't trust the small sample size. He was pretty bad and a chucker in Utah despite having the keys handed to him and he flat played himself onto the bench and then off the roster. He was also incredibly immature along with an out-sized ego. That said, he is more mature now and you have to hand him the effort going to the G-League to try and revive his career. He has played his way off 2 teams so far so maybe third time is the charm (but I really doubt it).

He'll get your hopes up most likely, only to slip back into who he really is, which is a chucker who just isn't consistent enough to make up for his defensive liability.

My guess is NY needs a tank commander, in which case Trey is an excellent choice.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the time in the D League and losing his “spot” a few times has opened his eyes and he gets better and more efficient on the offensive side. What I don’t see happening is him becoming good on the defensive side. He gets beat by his man all the time.

He can create a bit and he can pass a bit out of the PnR as you've seen. His shot looks good on paper, but it never really fell with the required consistency for us to justify his horrendous defense. In essence he became somewhat very much a chucker, with no D. He can probably be useful off the bench for a team in the regular season if he finds more consistency on offense. I doubt he could be useful in a playoff setting though. Teams in the playoffs just zero in on the weaknesses and have no compunction to exploit them until you adjust(take him out).

I watched him every game in Utah and couldn't stand the little chucker and glad Utah got rid of him but he looks like a different player now in NY .Way smoother and looks quicker darting in and out of the defense .Easily getting close in shots .His game has matured and if you havent seen him you'll be surprised. He's going to get minutes with NY.

Harden went nuts last night with 60-10-11, first in history to notch a 60-point triple-double. He added 4 steals too, just for the hell of it.

Kanter also dominated with 20+20+5+2 in 30 minutes and 8-10FG. Beastly night for him.

Canaan just broke his leg :noway: That's a heartbreaker for a guy fighting to stay in the league. Wish him the best.

Yeah... I read similar to Hayward's injury. I'm trying to not catch and see it somewhere... Injuries suck.

CJ McCollum just put up 50 points in 3 quarters and 29 minutes.

Somewhere else around the league, Treyd Burke put up 1 point in 5 minutes of action after recently being recalled from the d-league. :banghead:

Kanter had another monster night though (17+17).

and L, really big L this time. That was what Kanter is. His "best" games are very mostly losses.
