All I wanted was a healthy shot with this team.

Read on Twitter
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Ugh, **** basketball in general. There's just no justice at all.

they need to make a trade. there's nothing close to a competent replacement on our roster. huestis might be closest, and the starters with him are the only one that has found a trace of success. ferguson or abrines? no way. dre is an average starter for his position who fills a specific role for us. it's going to be impossible to even replace the overall impact much less the specific impact.

Thunder fans, every year since 2013.

Sorry guys but I gotta check out emotionally again. Did it last year and this year's just over, call it in. They'll win some shootouts but best case now went from maybe 3-4 seed to maybe 5 seed. Had Cousins not gone down it could be worse.

I don't think this season is a complete write off (yet). It's just up to Presti to pull off a miracle.

Wonder if we go Russ/PG/Melo/Pat/Steven at all now

I'll ride it out. Expectations have lowered, but they will still try to compete.
The team is going to have to figure out how to adjust to Dre not being there because ... (Sorry to be a dark cloud)
Dre may never come back right. Its not a matter of just throwing this season away and thinking about the next one. The DPOY candidate Dre might be gone forever.

The team has to make a trade for a replacement not as a fill in, but potentially a long term option. It also wouldn't be fair to waste a year of Russ' prime as well as the others by throwing up their hands. These adverse circumstances are where GMs earn their salary. It will be interesting to see how Presti approaches this situation. He will NOT concede the season for one player. There has been too much invested salary and trade-capital to pack up and turn out the lights.

Not even Presti is gonna turn all our trash into a starter level player. We were hoping for somebody who could at least play in the NBA.

And ANY infinitesimally small shot we had at golden state is gone. We can't defend them now.

To be fair he did once turn Cam Payne into Dougie and Taj. When his back's against the wall is the only time he gets proactive and bold. Hopefully this turns out the same.

I’d honestly rather go Westbrook/Abrines/George/Patterson/Adams with Melo off the bench now. This would be a high scoring unit that could help make up for Roberson’s absence. So we can try to put one of the best offenses out there or we can try to learn a new defensive scheme. My money is on the offense seeing an uptick and the defense suffering and lots of close-game 4th quarter situations.

Melo isn't coming off the bench. It's not happening.

Then we're doomed. Playing Patterson way more and replacing Roberson with an average defender is the only way for us to be still good defensively.

DOOMED!

I mean we are what we are now, hopefully there's just enough to convince George to stick around and run it back next year.

We're gonna win the title for Robes.

Yesterday you were calling the season and talking about finding another sport to follow. Now they are going to win it all for Dre? Your rollercoaster evidently goes very high and very low, is there any track somewhere in the middle?
