Ledger Nano Supports it...Thats the real zinger. Imagine if Doge is the true sleeper. I'm baffled by it myself.

I love dogs (have two) so the coin has that going for it, but not even that could make me put a penny in this.

VEN is in a dip. Take a look at that. Big partnerships, active team, working product, etc. I’m holding through the dip. I think this has really good long term potential. Like it a lot.

the Price is the only thing keeping me away. I want low stuff to maximize the potential. I'm new to this so I don't even know if that is actually the correct way of thinking..

Low is relative. VEN if it goes to a $100 a coin then it's still low to buy in at. The low point to me is where do you see the potential, so its all realtive. Of course everyone wants to find a coin at 5 cents that can bring you a schit load of money. But they are coins priced $5 that can make you even richer in some cases. To me look for coins that have a real vision and are practical. Those are your best money makers.

Gotcha. So do you agree with KnicksTape that VEN is a good coin? I might go for that. Thanks for the explanation as well about low/relative. I'm still trying to figure this whole thing out as I want to be able to make some passive income..

When you guys 'sell' and want to get your money, does the process work like this..

Binance -> Sell coin into Bitcoin/Eth -> Transfer to Coinbase -> Sell for $USD ?

Is there a better/easier way?

I can't speak on VEN I have done no research on it. Everything I know about it comes from KT and other who invested in here. There is a few people who praise it in here and make good cases for why it can blow. I personally went hard in XLM and ADA, with Ripple now my third most coin. I am waiting for the ICOs built on XLM platform. I think that will be the next big wave.

*Be sure to do your own research though!!!!!!! I read about XLM on Reddit and ignored it until here. After it kept getting brought up, I started to do more research. Loved what I saw, invested some, and I'm happy with the returns so far.

Reddit is a fantastic source, as is Youtube, but you need to know that some people are only in it for the "bum." I don't have enough in any coin for my "shilling" to have any impact () in terms of me making money, but everything read should be taken with a grain of salt. Reading up on everything is the best possible way to be sure, or about as sure as you can get with Crypto. Telegrams, Medium.com, the other coin forum, etc are also good places to read.

Honestly, if I were to pick between VEN and XLM, I'd go with XLM. I love both, but I think Ill is right in saying that once / if the ICOs start using XLM as its platform, it's going to be huge - which is why I'm putting more in XLM once I get back to green on DeepBrain Chain and DASH (only have a small %).

If you're interested in VEN, read through the thread - there are some good sites posted in here. If they aren't there, quote me and I'll go and pull some. Could have sworn I posted some in here, though.

Huh. When I sell on binance, the money goes back to what I used to pay for it (ethereum or bitcoin) on my binance acct

Sorry for the confusion.

What I mean is, lets say you grabbed a coin and it blows up and you want to sell it... are these the steps you have to take:

1. Go to Binance(if thats where the coin is)
2. Sell it into BTC/ETH
3. Deposit the BTC/ETH into Coinbase
4. Sell the BTC/ETH into $ USD?

---

Is that the correct process or is there a better way?

Those are the steps I've taken...

1. Sold x coin to Eth
2. Transferred it to coinbase
3. Sell eth to my bank account

I've done it twice. The first time took about 3 days to show in my bank account and the 2nd time took like 10hrs.

Just please be sure to use the correct eth address or you'll be ****

Like I said earlier, you're probably looking at this the wrong way.

You dont judge a coin's potential on the price of an individual coin. You judge it on the project's marketcap.

VEN has a much smaller market cap than cardano. VEN is more likely to multiply more than cardano at this point.

Not saying cardano is a bad buy. Just saying why you can't go based on the price of the individual coin.

to be honest investing 100 dollars in cardano, a coin with a huge market cap already, probably wont move the needle for you much. It will likely never skyrocket hard again and even if it goes 20x which is highly unlikely for the near future youll only see like 2k. but youre on the right track in picking coins you believe in and not putting down more than you're willing to lose

see this is where i disagree. market cap is basically just the amount of coins in existence X the last price one was sold at. and we are barely scratching the surface of the overall crypto market cap/amount of money coming in. as more money flows into the space i think we're going to see a lot of the weak coins being shaken out and only the ones with true visions (IE cardano, stellar, projects in that vein with proper teams with proper goals) will be around passed year's end. i only have ~$150 in cardano, but I also got in at about $0.40 so im not TOTALLY missing out on the gains now.

i believe cardano has the power to take over at least litecoins current position as far as coin value goes. gdax -> binance takes me 15 minutes usually for a LTC transfer, cardano off binance to my wallet took less than a minute.

i agree that we will see weak coins shaken out. but that doesnt mean that all the current small and medium market cap coins are weak. there are some potential juggernauts out of the top 5/ top 10 coins (in terms of market cap)

cardano has already overtaken litecoin's value lol. cardano is a top 5 coin....it's not a small fry by any means.

if youre looking to "go to the moon" the answer more likely lies in finding the hidden gems not going steady with the established ones that have already had their explosions.

He said the value of the coin itself, not in Market cap which it had already has. Cardano can go to $200 down the road, so at the price point 40c is Huge gains. Cardano and alot of the top coins explosions(rise) are on going.

Its all about strategy. There is nothing wrong with either one. An established coin can easily go to the moon.

If cardano ever reaches $200 per coin, it would mean that cardano alone would have a market cap of 5 trillion dollars assuming circulating supply remains the same

Is this theoretically possible? yeah, it is. how likely is this in the near future. not very likely at all. Unless the US dollar completely tanks lol. to put things in perspective apple's market cap isnt even 1 trillion yet. some people are saying that the market cap of the entire crytpo currency space will peak at around 5 million before bursting.

that's why market cap is so important when determining the probability of explosion

i agree there's nothing wrong with either one. but 300 gains on something with a market cap of already 18 billion is a tall order.
