Agree on Asik being a bit too high. I'd honestly rather him than a guy like Biz just to get the money over with sooner.

Unless you know the “bad news“ type inside about the Conley’s injury, your evaluation of him is highly questionable at the very least.

I suspect Ty Johnson will be harder to move than Waiters.
Johnson has a ton of fans around the league. And a lot of people are very worried about Waiters and this latest injury and what kind of shape he'll be in when he comes back.
He's owed $40 million over the two seasons after this one and he's back up. He can't break his guy down off the dribble. I can't think of a team that would trade for him without sending an equally bad contract back.
Wait, he can't? That's news to me! Guy is an excellent player. BTW, he comes off the bench because his production doesn't suffer for doing it. He and James Johnson were a huge part of our resurgence last year. Is he worth $20 million a year over the next two years? Absolutely not, but don't besmirch the player just because the contract (which, if he'd signed the next year, would have been a reasonable $12 million a season. They changed the rules).
He truly can play, but his contact will be tough to swallow next year. The year after, he'll have value as an expiring...

The season after (2019-2020) he is also able to be signed on a longer extension for more money over more years, but reducing the cap hit. I agree $12M for TJ is a bargain for what he brings (though I fear injuries long-term because his play relies on athleticism.) If we can sign him for 3/42 in July 2019, it reduces the cap hit by $5 and puts $23M more in his pocket. Win-win.

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^

Biyombo and Dieng are both rotation players. Neither is any sort of star, but both are healthy and contribute. Again, they are overpaid, but not by a ridiculously amount for a rotation guy. That kept Biyombo off the list for me.
In no real order here are the other guys I had in consideration:
George Hill
Evan Turner
Meyers Leonard
Kyle Lowry (only because of injury considerations)
Jonas Valanciunas (kind of a dinosaur now, even if I personally think he's fairly paid for his role)
Serge Ibaka
Reggie Jackson
Langston Galloway
JR Smith
Tristan Thompson
Cristiano Felicio
Dion Waiters
Bismack Biyombo
I love the feedback though. Would love to see some others you think belong on the list!
Personally, I don't like when lists feature sort of current events. In a snapshot, I can see that Gallo's contract may be bad, but once the summer hits, his value goes up significantly. On the other hand, someone like Evan Turner has under performed 2 years in a row and would not be considered an 8th man on most teams. Personally, I think Al Horford belongs on a list like this (and you could also toss in Hayward) because they are both max players who are being paid on-par with top 5 players despite being mayyybe top 20 (hayward when healthy) and top 30-50 (Horford very subjective, please forgive me). Same can be said for the likes of LMA, Drummond, Adams and Porter. Just for comparison to a replacement-level guy, does Steven Adams (who I like) make 12M dollars difference more than a Lopez brother? Is Porter worth 11M more than Tobias Harris?
And just to prognosticate, if someone pays Jordan a max this summer, that deal, to me would be the next #1.
