I caught the end of the PHI-OKC game (OKC won) when Westbrook was just dribbling out the clock, and staring Embiid down on the sidelines while doing so.

After the game Embiid tweeted this with caption "crime scene investigation". Now I know what the stare-down was all about.

After the dunk, Embiid stared down Westbrook til he was 3/4 way down the court. So, to be fair to Westbrook, Embiid had it coming. It was his 'we won' statement...in addition to 23/9 in the second half.

Are you kidding? Westbrook stares everybody down 4/4 way down the court every time while pounding his chest and screaming.

There is literally nobody in the league that "has it coming" more than Westbrook, anytime, all the time.

Conley out for the year, Memphis needs to rebuild maybe worse than any team I have ever seen. Instead they will probably trade for Avery Bradley

I know, but none of that invalidates what I said or what happened. And let's be honest, Embiid is not a wallflower. He invites it upon himself readily.

Both guys know what's up and what the other guy was doing. I was just providing the context.

I like how the cop gently just pulls him off the court and looks to give him a stern lecture as opposed to the dude getting tackled and carried out in handcuffs.

I don't care for either guys, I think they are douche 1a and douche 1b in the league.

I'm not sure what the Pistons could offer here?

Central is going to be tough if pistons get griffin. If they get him think that might speed things up for the bucks to get a big?

What is Blake's contract situation? I don't see him signing his next one in Detroit regardless. This would be an interesting development for our division however.

If they actually do deal Blake, that means the fire sale is on. DeAndre is next on the market.

Depends on what the Pistons give up for him, for one. Generally not concerned about a team in our division trying to defend Giannis with Blake, though.

He just signed a 4 or 5 year max last summer.

Thank you, I had forgotten all about that and was on my phone in class so I wasn't gonna go searching for it. I don't see this move making the Pistons any better or worse though. Honestly, I guess it depends on what they could get from Detroit other than Avery Bradley.

Not sure that's a given. Could be trading Bradley & Tobias and still gunning for playoffs

Blake doesn't move the needle much for me. Pistons acquiring Blake is likely their death sentence in an attempt to compete - stuck with his contract, and not going anywhere.

I don't think he's terrible but he certainly doesn't make them scary, to me. Especially considering they're going to have to give up something.

No way they trade Blake and try to do anything but tank.
