Terrible trade for Detroit. Griffin is looking like a JJ Watt type guy. I put it at 50% that he finishes this season.

So Detroit is upgrading Tobias to Blake and all they had to give up was Bradley (leaving in offseason), Boban (garbage), and a non-lottery first? Unless something is wrong with Blake, that is a steal. Yeah, we're not making the playoffs.

Yep, if the Clippers are smart, hopefully Hornets take notes

How dare you. Boban is the centerpiece of the deal.

Blake’s health must be horrible if that’s what he went for. We must really be about to blow it up if we didn’t jump on this.

MKG+ Zeller+Lamb+protected 1st is way better than the package the Pistons got for Blake.

Washington may drop some games ... this is going to give the Hornets brass second thoughts about tanking.

Well that pretty much eliminates both the NOP and the Bulls as trading partners.

K. Love out 6-8 weeks. Wish we could find a way to trade for him now and just tank out this season.

Surely now is the time to offer Marv

And what will we get in return? Certainly not the Brooklyn pick.

I still believe we could’ve saved so much money to go after better players and even a decent backup PG by retaining Tolliver in the same role we gave to Marv. I said it back then and I’m saying it now.

Was playing around with the idea, do we fully tank and offer Marv and kemba for the love and the Brooklyn pick?

With the news that Gilbert loves Thomas it might be a tough sale.

Even at 13 mill I ain’t mad with the Marv deal, he’s been surprisingly reliable

I'm thinking Dwight & Kemba for Love, BKN pick, Shumpert

Cleveland needs a center and they've shown interest in Deandre. Kemba would obviously be a huge upgrade to what they have right now and could be somebody Cleveland could build around if Lebron leaves.

I’m not mad at the current Marv deal either. He’s grown into a player that I like the more he limited his game to quick trigger 3pt shots and the salary cap spiked.

I’d still rather to pay Tolliver in that role and have a quality backup PG with the extra money. But knowing Cho’s track record of choosing a backup PG we prolly would’ve gave that money to a backup PG that we don’t like like Roberts or Sessions.

Throw Shabazz Napier in the list of draft day mishaps. He’s become one of the best backup PGs in the league. We’d still have him on his rookie deal if we had kept him.

only two draft decisions actually made me angry- that one and Frank Kaminsky over Winslow. Still annoyed we went with PJ over Napier even after giving me those 30 seconds of me being thrilled we landed him before the trade was announced... I'm still annoyed at the Frank pick, but not because of Winslow- Turner and Booker were big misses.
investigate Adam Silver
