Welcome Blake Griffin

Post#1 » by The Moose » Mon Jan 29, 2018 11:33 pm

Figured I'd make a new thread considering this is the biggest move we've made in a long time.

Post your thoughts

If its basically Tobias, Bradley and a first. Great deal.

Blake's a big time player. Carried the Clippers in the playoffs a few years ago.

Jordan/Griffin/Paul/Redick couldn't win.

We try it with Drummond/Griffin/Jackson/Kennard...

I'm happy we didn't have to give up Kennard, and looking forward to him getting more game time.
I'm not completely sold on Griffin, especially on that contract, but at least it's exciting

West vs East.

East might even be Lebron-less next season

I'm wondering if this is it for now and Stans gonna wait, or he makes another move for Kemba. Pistons still have assets.

This makes detroit LETHAL up front. So much scoring and rebounding wow.

Cannot wait to see it in action

On one hand, I like the idea of Stan going out and getting talented players.

On the other hand, Blake is only getting older, already has injury issues, and carries a massive financial weight.

I'm on the fence about this. It feels shortsighted.
