Im thinking they already have another trade lined up. This gives them time to focus on the other deal(s).

Our team is pretty much nearly set. We either make a seismic trade (Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard for 1 or 2 of our young studs to go along with the Lakers/Kings pick) or we make a minimal move that has enough impact to push us through the east like getting Lou Will or Evans.

Unlike in years past when we were interested in nearly any big name players including Griffin due to uncertainty with the roster and having a lot of expendable players, the Celtics are past that. Celts are now looking for a true superstar to go along with Kyrie and Hayward and possibly Al.

So I’m not expecting a whole lot of noise.

I think if you are Detroit, they probably want it done ASAP. Clippers probably could have waited longer, but I think this trade will require a lot more for them before the deadline. They have a lot of pieces to flip before the deadline including Bradley, Lou Williams, DAJ, maybe Tobias Harris.

You wonder sometimes what goes on behind the scenes. Something tells me there's about 8 different trade situations for the Clippers thhat would give them more value than Bradley and Tobias Harris..lol..hell Bradley doesn't even count because he's a FA..what an absolute robbery for the Pistons. But then again..Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond with no quality SG or SF..it's like Clippers East. Can't imagine they will get a very happy Blake either..

Pick is protected top 4 for like 3 years..Doc is probably slicing his wrists as we speak. :lol:

Weird. But if true, I would drop them that DPE in about a **** second to get AB back. As long as he's cool with coming off the bench.

We can't get Bradley with the DPE, still. He's making $8.8M, DPE is $8.4 ($8.5 in Trade).
We could Trade for him, Straight up. But I don't think we have the right numbers.
