cardano has already overtaken litecoin's value lol. cardano is a top 5 coin....it's not a small fry by any means.

if youre looking to "go to the moon" the answer more likely lies in finding the hidden gems not going steady with the established ones that have already had their explosions.

He said the value of the coin itself, not in Market cap which it had already has. Cardano can go to $200 down the road, so at the price point 40c is Huge gains. Cardano and alot of the top coins explosions(rise) are on going.

Its all about strategy. There is nothing wrong with either one. An established coin can easily go to the moon.

If cardano ever reaches $200 per coin, it would mean that cardano alone would have a market cap of 5 trillion dollars assuming circulating supply remains the same

Is this theoretically possible? yeah, it is. how likely is this in the near future. not very likely at all. Unless the US dollar completely tanks lol. to put things in perspective apple's market cap isnt even 1 trillion yet. some people are saying that the market cap of the entire crytpo currency space will peak at around 5 million before bursting.

that's why market cap is so important when determining the probability of explosion

i agree there's nothing wrong with either one. but 300 gains on something with a market cap of already 18 billion is a tall order.

I understand what you mean, but Big Market caps still have huge potential in a realistic way is the point that's being made. Gains are relative. 100x is good for some people.

We have to remember that less than 2% of the world is into cryptocurrency. The market caps we see now are actually small to what they will be in due time. The bubble wont burst on every coin if there is wide spread adoption and more users.

So some of the smaller coins will be having market caps of the top coins now in a couple of years. If 10% of the world gets into Crypto Currency these current Market caps would look tiny.

Cryptocurrency is a small way of showing you how much money is in the hands of the people of the planet earth. We are talking serious money being moved at less than 2% of the people actually moving the money. 10%?? and whoa...

XRB! After being in the red, I’ve rejoined the land of the green over the last few days! Hopefully it’ll keep going up! It was actually one of my first coins I got in with, so it’s near and dear to me.

VEN, on the other hand, is dipping hard. :-? Nebulas, decentralized search engine (been in my watch list for a minute) is staying green even while BTC etches in and out. Methinks that could keep going up too.

*edit* apparently back in the red momentarily with XRB. Damnit. Just checked.

Where do you suggest buying XRB? Might grab some before it gets listed on Binance.

ICX-VEN-NEO are the only coins I own with NEO being my largest holding. Truthfully I want to take my positions in ICX and VEN and load up entirely in NEO. Risky I know but I believe in their team and their vision.

i believe cardano has the power to take over at least litecoins current position as far as coin value goes. gdax -> binance takes me 15 minutes usually for a LTC transfer, cardano off binance to my wallet took less than a minute.

Exactly. Stellar and Cardano will most likely be my longest holds - I believe in the tech behind the projects. I'm 100% fine with having to wait, say, a year, 2 years, to see "to the moon" gains from those. If they both somehow reached even $50 per coin each I'd be perfectly fine with how much money I made off of them, hell I probably wouldn't even totally cash out all my holdings. $200 for even ONE of those two? ****, I'd buy a small house/condo, in cash, at 27-28 years old, after living paycheck to paycheck from 18-onwards.

I'm also holding a good amount of CND, BAT, and REQ. I want to grab some NEO, VEN, ICX, and WTC as well for more immediate/shorter-term gains. I also want to get into sub-sat coins for a chance to really go to the moon off $50-100.

I don't really have lofty goals from crypto. It's my first foray into investing as a mid-20s adult. My goals essentially are to be able to pay off any debts I have when I cash out (credit card, loan, whatever), put a downpayment down on a house/condo, and maybe pay my parents mortgage off if I were to make it REALLY big. Those might be relatively lofty goals to some, but I don't forsee being able to buy a Lambo or Maserati from crypto. I just would like to go to work for pocket cash for awhile, and not have to worry about making a paycheck stretch 2 weeks.

This was the biggest exchange (not sure if KuCoin passed them.) I had no problems buying and selling some there.
Don't have any currently, but I did pick up some DGB (considering selling half for XRB)...

BTW guys, WTC is looking incredibly strong (as is ICX) through this rough patch lately, Sort of looks like crypto might be making a move up lately...

I agree that crypto has the potential to go to heights the world has never seen before. That would be the most optimistic view of blockchain technology but it's definitely possible and i hope it happens.

What I was getting at with regards to I'm Coming Home was that is it worth investing 100 dollars on cardano? What are the chances cardano reaches even 20x, let alone 100x or 200x, in the near future? It's possible but incredibly difficult. One can also argue that if you're so confident in Cardano being "the one" and mooning that hard, you should invest more.

Basically - is it worth it to dump 100 dollars in Cardano today with the hope that it goes 100x relatively quickly?

The whole point of crypto at this junction is to be an early adapter and take advantage of the gains to be had at this stage.

I just wouldnt squander this opportunity by throwing in 100 dollars for the long run for a "measley" $10k MAX in 3 years.

I also was talking about market cap to him because he seemed to be under the impression that if the individual coin price was low it had higher potential. That's a common mistake a lot of people new to the game make. It's all about the market cap.

this is the perfect time to accumulate ven imo and the worst time to sell (although i know you big on holding)

it's currently in a cooldown periods. it's bound for a bounce but it dropped a support level so it went from a swing to position hold for me. I'm just dollar cost averaging ven and waiting for the blast off.

also the end of feb is important for ven. a lot of announcements, including the rebrand. that hype is going to build up into the price.

We gotta work together to start a scam site y'all. One of y'all get on the branding, another on catchy videos and endorsements, I'll code, and others could help put up the capital so people can get paid their interest while the scam is going on before we're forced to take all their coins and bounce.

So should I really be concerned? Or do you think its normally for bigger coins like Cardano/ADA and Tron/TRX to have its ups and downs, and it will trend upward as Crypto gets bigger and bigger in the world?

I'm not a financial advisor :D but this correction has happened every year around this time. Outside of any bad news I wouldn't be concerned at all. If I really believed in X coin/token I would be accumulating more right now. Personally speaking, out of the top ten, I'm more bullish on NEO and EOS.
