Interesting that they're bringing him back before the trade deadline.

The hate is strong in this one. Btw, it’s Jabari’s decision to come back on Friday. The bucks left it up to him when he’s ready

Little touchy there chief. I've accepted that they're going to over pay him. Now I wait until everyone turns on him like they did Michael Redd.

I hated redd the minute they traded Allen. As long as they don’t trade Giannis because they have Parker I’ll love Jabari forever

Bucks online community will be in a raging debate the next nine days over whether to trade or not trade him

I'm not even opposed to trading Jabari for the right deal, but it would be such a kick to the balls if they hype up his return on Friday only to trade him a week later. No way they're trading him at this point. It's not like 2-3 games on a minutes restriction is gonna magically convince other teams that he's worth giving up major assets for.

I hate to actually be the buy high/overreactor in this case, but I think so much should depend on if he looks like a big-time 20+ point scorer immediately or if he doesn't. If he does, it may be too appealing to pass up a running mate for Giannis, and firepower to actually battle Golden State. If not, I think we should make someone else use him as a lotto ticket, i.e. Brooklyn. Move him before the deadline.

That's where I'm at with Jabari. Your options are pretty much move him for what you can now or match a max offer, and rest assured a max offer will come.

I know for sure even if healthy he's not a max player so it's an obvious choice for me.

The heart says keep Jabari, the head says trade him. Why?

-You don't pay a player with 2 ACL tears max money.
-He plays the same position as Giannis
-You would rather fill his max slot with a player who can shoot and play off Giannis
-instead of losing him for nothing, get assets for him now
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

I don't know where I'm at with Jabari. He looks slim, athletic and explosive. Returning to the court can't be anything but a positive for the organization or the man that has worked his way back a second time.

I think this is the best of both worlds. If Jabari doesn't get a max, you get him back on a bargain. If he does get a max, you let him go and get some cap space. Seems like a win-win.

No way they'll let him go for nothing. if he stays healthy they're matching whatever it is and then figure it out later.

The Bucks best chance for a second superstar is Parker, we get a few months and at least one playoff series to see where Parker is at, no need to not be patient now. It's not like the Bucks would get a worth while return for him anyway, no upside in another team giving up a really good, long term asset for him.

The Clippers just got a 1st/2nd and some decent players for Blake Griffin who is perpetually injured and has an albatross contract..

RFA match Jabari and let him settle in as a Buck for a few seasons. He should fit in nicely taking Thon’s minutes, with Giannis sliding to the 5 when Henson goes to the bench for a breather. The Bucks could use a backup 5 at the deadline. Might be able to deal Delly for a comparable backup type big.

If they are smart, he’s going to take Thon’s minutes + some of Snell. He’s going to be a 20ppg guy again next season at high efficiency. If he can bring his 37% 3p shooting to 40-45% (camp that baseline more).. he’s going to be killer for us.
