It will be interesting to see what he gets paid this summer. I wouldn't mind having him back but it would have to be at the right price.

If Luke, Stanley and Bullock continue to produce and we can re-sign Tolliver cheap, this would be a good lineup until we could get Josh Smith and Jon Leuer off the books.

R. Jackson/I. Smith
R. Hood/L. Kennard
S. Johnson/R. Bullock
B. Griffin/A. Tolliver
A. Drummond/W. Reed

Nice lineup and that's close to reality.

Yeah… I heard him say that as well regarding not going into the luxury tax.

They will have to find a way to be creative and turn Galloway and Leuer into something serviceable.

I watched him say that quote too but I don't think he meant we will never go into the tax. It sounded like he was saying, based on our current contracts we won't be in the tax next year either. I think if we are showing promise and SVG has a good move lined up, Gores will go into the tax.

I hope so because this team really needs a few pieces to challenge the better Eastern conference teams.

As much as I'd love to see SJ & Luke develop into the complimentary pieces we need, I believe they'll still have some needs.

Except I highly doubt we get Hood with that package. It would be great to dump Galloway and bring back a positive value guy but I don't see that happening unfortunately. That lineup would be intriguing.

Do you expect Teodosic to improve in the sense that he's still learning the NBA game? Cuz the dude's 30.

Nah, just get used to the NBA game, the speed, the grind of the 82 game season etc. He's been hurt a lot so far - his December numbers were ugly, but his January numbers are promising. Admittedly I don't watch him, just going by reputation and his numbers now.

if what SVG said stays true, then we're stuck with what we have and have to really hope this works out.

i have a feeling we'd still be willing to pay the tax for certain players - hood being one of tbose(depending on what his contract demands are)

assuming we stay with just using the MLE, id love to get seth curry if we miss out on a bigger guard. marco wouldnt be a bad pick up.

I’m gonna bet svg signs somebody not on those lists, he’ll we and deal or snag another fringe guy at a slight overpay, we never get this guy right, all those names make too much sense
