General Trade Rumors
Post general rumors in here, such as from other posters, boards, less well-known twitter accounts, etc.
NO ATTACKING OTHER POSTERS. We've had enough of that, that we'll skip warnings and go straight to suspensions and bans.

Celtics fan.

We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

Re: General Trade Rumors
Trade talks Update : Not a lot new .
With K.Love going down the Cavs have inquired in regards to a deal were they get G. Hill & Koufas . No deal is that close yet but they have proposed Frye , Shumpert & I.T. in a deal . Kings do not want Shumpert and would not likely attempt to sign I.T. even if traded to us . Kings would get a pick in a deal likely Clevlands 1st should a deal happen .
Their are talks were both Koufas & I.T. are not in a deal either .
Personally I think the Kings should not do any of these deal with Clevland unless at the very least we get a 1st round pick . I see no real incentive otherwise. We will not be really keeping any player acquired via Clevland . Also the free agents we have a realtic chance to sign next season are not anything special and I don't want wasted dollars spent .
Their is just as good of a chance in regards to hill that quality of a trade return for him after this season will be just as good if not a lot better than that of we could get via Clevland . In regards to other teams most other teams would likely be able to offer a better package . Outside of Clevland I would really watch for Denver or the Jazz to push hard for Hill . I think the Jazz are in a great position to leapfrog the Pelicans into a playoff seed and push Nola out unless Nola can pull off a very creative trade that keeps them holding onto that spot .
Clevland is trying to find other options with other teams but they are very limited . Cavs could shock everyone and become sellers more than buyers for what they can get . I Think they are confident Lebron won't be back and they could keep their 2 1st round picks . Hence we may not end up trading with Clevland at all .
Clevland is a really difficult situation to know what direction they will go but they better decide very fast .
Koufas : Drawing interest from the Bucks , Blazers , Celtics , Pelicans & Jazz
Hill : Drawing interest from the Cavs , Jazz , 76ers , Denver , Pacers & Suns
Temple : I could mention more than half of the Nba that said most notably : Spurs , Wizards , OKC & Wolves
Z BO : Drawing interest from : Pelicans , Bucks , Wolves , JAZZ , Pacers
Vince : Drawing interest from : Wizards , Toronto ,
Skal : Mavs are the team most wanting him and Mavs would really love to get him . I don't think he gets traded to Dallas without a 1st round pick . To get Skal Kings want a 1st round pick coming back end of story .
Pappa G. : Nola has took a peek recently due to their very limited cap space .
Note : If the Kings were to work a trade were we had to cut a player Kings would likely Cut Carter and give him a chance to sign with a contender if that situation was to happen I know 4 teams of interest : Cavs , Warriors , OKC & TOR

Re: General Trade Rumors
With Love going down I wonder if that curtails the chances of getting out from Hill's deal. It sure would be nice for the Kings to have some space along with this plethora of young talent to potentially make a deal that sees them consolidate.

We don’t need to get out from the deal. If a beneficial deal doesn’t come, we are best of waiting until next season.

UTA, CLE, IND and MINN are looking for scoring.
SA, OKC, TOR are looking for versatile wing players.
The Kings made it clear they value Skal back when the CLEV rumors were shot down.

Re: General Trade Rumors
Woj just said on NBA countdown the Cavs are still looking at DeAndre Jordan and George Hill. Brooklyn pick is off the table but the Cavs 1st is in play.

I was watching that too.
Would you do Hill and Richardson for Shumpert and Fyre and the Clev 1st?

Yep.
Richardson is buried here he's not going to develop as he should so might as well sweeten the pot and get that first round draft pick because I question whether George Hill solves the Cavs problems.

I’m sure this is the deal the Kings are pushing for. I don’t think the Cavs view Hill and his contract worthy of their 1st. If they’re going after DeAndre and the Brooklyn pick isn’t in play their own 1st would be the only asset that gets them close to DeAndre.

If the cap stays flat this upcoming year and the NBA continues to tilt towards an unbeatable top 5-6 teams then a package of space/young players is much better than having George Hill as a 20 million dollar disgruntled mentor.

Their 1st might not be that great TBH unless someone falls for no reason. The back half of the 20's is a bit like last year where deep into the 2nd round it's all about what team likes whom. I don't see any consensus picks at the moment so like with the Kings drafting Mason, a 2nd rounder might have more value in the end.
The sticking point sounded like Hill not taking a buyout which I think is stupid on Clevelands part. That's going to break off a deal when you are trying to win a ring? Ridiculous if true and the eventual falloff of the Cavs this season is well deserved.
They're first shouldn't even begin to get them close to Jordan. If Doc traded him for that on the heels of that Griffin deal then he's toast.

Nobody should consider Malachi a throw in to get a deal done with the Cavs . It is not to say Malachi is not tradable but also likely not needed in such a deal with Clev . If Clev parted with the N.J. 1st in the deal which they likely won't so if they won't we should be able to net CLev's 1st without Malachi in the deal .

There is literally no comparison in the Brooklyn pick and their pick at the moment. Almost 18 picks apart.

A few things...
I don't agree with the bolded portion. a pick in the second half of the first could net you OG Anunoby or Kyle Kuzma or Terrance Ferguson. It's all in how you pick.
And Jerry West is making the picks for the Clippers.
