This precisely. If I got back in that gym and worked on it, I could get around to shooting about 40% from 25 (when open) within a few days or a week. Not great, but not that hard, either. You ask me to do what Warren does at anything approaching a respectable percentage, and I don't think I could ever get there. It's just not in me. Some people have that talent. The degree to which Warren has it is mind-boggling.
Nobody is denying the talent of Warren in this regard, but in the end most important is what really works, when the defense is working hart to stop you and usually it's the simple open shots after a screen, etc.
You see it's funny, I actually think that TJ is perfect for the playoffs. As has been said, he hits "tough buckets." I mentioned his developing post game (developing only in the sense of usage, because he certainly appears to me be great at it). He gets a ton of points in the half court coming off screens and by cutting. He's also started to nail the corner 3.
We simply disagree here. I think TJ's going to thrive in a playoff environment. The variety of moves and shots that he exhibits is hard to game plan for.
So, let's hope we find out soon is it true by watching some playoff basketball involving the Suns.
