What the...seriously? Magic want him gone?

Not sure I wanna bite that apple considering they're probably looking for a king's ransom that he, especially as an upcoming rFA, isn't worth.

That said, considering how the players they trade end up panning out ... mayhaps we should pick him up?

I mean, really. Oladipo, (formerly LOladipo), Tobias Harris, etc.

It's the curse of Elfrid's Hair. He'll be the last one left.

Well they keep getting the same type of player and then trying to play them at the wrong position because they sign or trade for vets at their original position. Tobias, Gordon, Isaac. Bet they draft Bagley to play SF next to Isaac before they try and dump Isaac 2 seasons from now.

Oh, and who hacked the 'Squawk? I know you guys got bad blood but teaming up with the Russians and North Koreans is not the answer.

Heck, yeah. Count me in.

He'd look awful good between Taurean and Collins.

I bet Jamal Crawford, Diamond Stone and that HOU 1st rounder* could get it done...

Whoa, wait a minute spud2. You know we have a mole here. MaceC might be wired up. I'mma turn on this transistor radio while I talk to him.

{click}

*ahem*

So yeah MaceC, that's actually a good point w.r.t. ORL blocking their picks' normal positions. I'm also curious to see where Fournier and Payton end up. If Gordon is considered expendable, surely them 2 dudes are on the block too.

Why would you think that?
Why would you have expected us to even have Crawford at this point in the season?
Why would you think someone wants Stone considering he's apparently holding out all season for more money? I guess all other teams are battling it out to sign him?

No. Just .... no.

What do you think, he's been sandbagging the last 3+ years? He'll be available for free real soon.

Only if it's a sweetheart deal. They're desperate, no way I'm adding assets to get him.

SAS is supposedly interested. Wait and see what they (don't) give up for him.

Again, I don’t know what was going on with Stan the last ...well since he came in...he must hate his namesake and coach..but if you watch him in the last few games he’s definitely capable of a lot..a whole lot. It would almost be like drafting a Stan that is now ready for the league..

Maybe Jamal is right about the extra year or two in college...probably another reason I like Mikal Bridges as well..he’s a junior.

Ps Watch the Spurs get him for peanuts...smh

spud2 must be off his meds.

Back on topic though, sounds like the Noah situation is becoming more and more untenable (does that make is tell tenable?). I'd love to facilitate a trade if we can fleece some assets from NYK.

I'm sure Porzingis loves the (lack of)direction in this franchise. Not that I'm a huge fan of Porzo necessarily but ... well, you know what I mean.

The veteran swingman is on the market and may have an interested party.

Now, Michael Scotto of The Athletic has shed some specific light on a team that could have interest, indicating that the Philadelphia 76ers have “kept tabs” on Belinelli in recent days.

Within the same piece, Scotto notes that the Hawks have a “FOR SALE” sign hanging for most of the roster at this point, with specific notes concerning both Belinelli and Ersan Ilyasova. Belinelli’s shooting (career 38 percent flip from three-point range) would likely be the focus for Philadelphia in trade and, in short, they have plenty of draft capital (and young players) to throw around in potential deals.

It is also interesting to note that the report discusses a rumored package that would have sent Belinelli and Ilyasova to the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for Omer Asik’s less than ideal contract and a first round pick.

Porzy should pass on signing an extension. His agent brother already made reference to such a thing awhile back.

Philly has a plethora on 2nds.
2018 from BKN/CAVS (more favourable).
2018 from HOU
2018 from LAC/NYK (more favourable)

That Brooklyn 2nd rounder could be useful...is very enticing...interests me greatly.

Seems DEN has finally come to their senses on Beasley ....

https://www.denverstiffs.com/2018/2/2/16965504/rumor-denver-nuggets-making-malik-beasley-available-in-a-trade-interested-in-rodney-hood

.. seeking a wing upgrade/targeting R. Hood. I'd send them Baze and take back Beasley/Faried or w/e. I'd check with OKC first to see if Ferguson is available.

He'd be a fool to do so given his injury history. It would be like that great Kyrie debate where it was suggested he not take his extension. He only proceeded to become both the second banana and break his kneecap to end that same season.
