Want to get a Heat Vice jersey, but I'm gonna wait till after trade deadline. Wanna have the player on my jersey here longer than 2 weeks. Was thinking of getting JRich, but he is probably the most marketable trade asset to get a superstar.
Proud embarrassment

He can't be traded til the offseason, so there's that?
I jumped on 20 minutes after it launched, just about all the Medium's were sold out for the players of note.

Re: Random Be Safe Papis Thoughts; XVIIII
São Paulo at Corinthians at Paecambu, in São Paulo, first classic of the year. São Paulo just announced a new center-striker, Trellez, from Vitoria. We're also about to sign Nenê, yes, it's a common name, meaning "baby," from Vasco. He's a wing player.
Corinthians has been stomping us lately, so a win here would be a big deal.
I've also made an NBA trade deadline countdown for all you real Heat fans out there:
https://www.tickcounter.com/countdown/453921/countdown-to-2018-trade-deadline-of-nba
LOL at the idea of signing Cousins, one of the laziest players in the league (go ask any Kings fan), after an Achilles tear...

look, Cousins is a special case. He's like a Randy Moss (NFL WR).
Moss had all time great talent.... but when he was on bad teams, he didn't care and was lazy. Look how he behaved on the Raiders. Then Belichick traded for him, surrounded him with a winning culture and mindset, and Randy came to life again and was focused again.
Guys like Cousins need someone else to come in and give them direction.
Cousins on the Kings = Cousins is bored, knows the team is garbage, lazy, no direction or leadership
Cousins on the Heat? = Riley could support him emotionally, give him leadership and direction, and Cousins will actually have faith in his team and front office
"As for me personally, I don't truly care how much I make these days, my main focus is on playing for a winner." - Dirk Nowitzki, July 2016

Re: Random Be Safe Papis Thoughts; XVIIII
São Paulo lost to Corinthians again, this time 2-1. Under our GM Leco, São Paulo's performance against our principal local rivals has been abysmal. We once dominated all of them. They feared us and rightly so.
This is how we are today though:
SÃO PAULO X CORINTHIANS (1W 5D 5L = 24,2%)
22/11/2015 Corinthians 6x1 São Paulo (Coach: Milton Cruz)
14/02/2016 Corinthians 2x0 São Paulo (Coach: Bauza)
17/07/2016 Corinthians 1x1 São Paulo (Coach: Bauza)
05/11/2016 São Paulo 4x0 Corinthians (Coach: Gomes)
21/01/2017 São Paulo 0x0 Corinthians (Coach: Ceni)
26/03/2017 São Paulo 1x1 Corinthians (Coach: Ceni)
16/04/2017 São Paulo 0x2 Corinthians (Coach: Ceni)
23/04/2017 Corinthians 1x1 São Paulo (Coach: Ceni)
11/06/2017 Corinthians 3x2 São Paulo (Coach: Ceni)
24/09/2017 São Paulo 1x1 Corinthians (Coach: Dorival)
27/01/2018 Corinthians 2x1 São Paulo (Coach: Dorival)
SÃO PAULO x PALMEIRAS (2W 0D 3L = 40%)
13/03/2016 São Paulo 0x2 Palmeiras (Coach: Bauza)
29/05/2016 São Paulo 1x0 Palmeiras (Coach: Bauza)
07/09/2016 Palmeiras 2x1 São Paulo (Coach: Gomes)
11/03/2017 Palmeiras 3x0 São Paulo (Coach: Ceni)
27/05/2017 São Paulo 2x0 Palmeiras (Coach: Ceni)
SÃO PAULO X SANTOS (2W 1D 5L = 29%)
21/10/2015 São Paulo 1x3 Santos (Coach: Doriva)
28/10/2015 Santos 3x1 São Paulo (Coach: Doriva)
27/03/2016 Santos 1x1 São Paulo (Coach: Bauza)
26/06/2016 Santos 3x0 São Paulo (Coach: Bauza)
13/10/2016 São Paulo 0x1 Santos (Coach: Gomes)
16/02/2017 Santos 1x3 São Paulo (Coach: Ceni)
09/07/2017 Santos 3x2 São Paulo (Coach: Pintado)
28/10/2017 São Paulo 2x1 Santos (Coach: Dorival)
So why am I posting this in this forum? Because I think it's instructive. São Paulo fans are just as impatient as Heat fans and just as used to winning (well, we were). São Paulo's youth leagues remain dominant, but our front office sells our best young prospects before they can realize success on our team. With some of the money, we hire win-now veterans who have no psychological link to the club. The rest of the money goes into the Brazilian "elsewhere," a place where meagerly-paid directors somehow live like kings.
Speaking of the Kings, Grumpy, they treated Cousins very well. Heat fans can beat their chests about how different our front office is (and it is), but the Kings were smart to dump Cousins. Their only mistake was waiting too long.

Yeah, not a big fan of the Weeknd or the genre, but can't hate on a guy who brought respect to Scarbz.
