Bench scoring
Simple solution for our bench scoring. move Ish back to the bench and run Buycks or Galloway with the starters. Ish is the better player, but we need him with the bench group to provide scoring. Blake and Stanley can help bring the ball up with the starters.

Re: Bench scoring
An ever easier solution is not friggin whole sale line changes. Can Stan not manage moving players in and out that he needs to have a starting five and then a bench five? Teams have 8 man rotations for crying out loud.
Two starters should be on the floor at all times.

This. He can start whomever he wants, but needs to stagger his playmaking players. Pull Ish early, and put Buycks or Galloway in, then pull either Blake or Dre around the 9 minute mark to get them ready to start the second while they other one rests.

Re: Bench scoring
As mentioned in last nights game thread, the Luke + 4 undrafted guys isn't a recipe for success.

Re: Bench scoring
I’m 100% okay with starting Buycks and letting Ish come off the bench until Reggie comes back

Re: Bench scoring
I think starting Galloway might be the best option. Him, kennard, bullock, griffin and Dre on paper works. Use Stanley and ish off the bench to push the pace. We could also use Johnson as the primary ball handler with the bench guys if he keeps up his recent play

In theory there are many options. I just don't know how much faith I have in SVG to dial in the optimal rotations.
I'm even more fearful of SVG reincorporating RJ.
Adjustments seem to be SVGs biggest weakness.

Re: Bench scoring
Wish we could get someone like Joe Johnson or someone that can come off the bench who can create offense for themselves, too many guys on our bench that need a great playmaker to get the most out of them imo.

Re: Bench scoring
Waive Brice Johnson, sign Monta Ellis to the pro-rated minimum via Leuer's DPE? Would still keep Detroit under the tax.

True.
I don't think bringing reggie back will be too much of an issue. If anything he'll bring things back to a comfortable place for svg.
If the bench continues to suck, svg will make a small adjustment. I hope having griffin will make svg comfortable to move ish back to the bench since the offense won't be so pg heavy.

Keep Galloway and his chucking away from the starters. We have better scoring options.

We could if the Jazz do end up buying him out

Re: Bench scoring
Nelson would be fine starting for us if Chicago waive him, not sure if Ish to the bench would fix the 2nd unity tho. We need Luke to play better and we need Reed to be able to score inside.

This is the problem with Buycks and Galloway. Both are convinced that they're always the best option on the floor.
