Heard OKC might want Tony Allen cuz Roberson hurt , I’ll take on Singler’s deal if we get Ferguson back. Allen and Holiday for Kyle and Ferguson

If the Nets get a top 3 pick, Cleveland keeps it, we get the NO pick back plus Cleveland's own pick and a future first.

That’s a good trade. Lessens the risk for CLE.

I don’t think the Bulls will take back any contracts that run past next season. They are setting themselves up for next summer and free agency. I know they usually strikeout but they have to keep trying. The summer of 2019, the bulls will have plenty of cap space. The only contracts worth a significant amount of money will be Levine and Felicio. Dunn will be restricted in 20 and Markkanen the following year. Let’s say they get a stud and 2 rotational players in the next 2 drafts; would that be enough to interest Leonard or Thompson to come to Chicago?

Only trade I see happening the next week is Grant or Nelson for a conditional 2nd round pick.

With what Paxson said yesterday, I think our first foray into the deep in FA, will be for Davis or Giannis. And I love that, because it gives our kids a bit of growth time and doesn't box you in, if you find out you've got more holes than you imagined. They'll be known entities by then. And a guy like Davis or Giannis can be a finishing product, instead of a "hope we are a 6th seed" type of move, like Thompson is, at that stage.

Kyle Singler deal also has a club option for the final year of his deal so that could make him a good expiring next season

Would love Giannis or Davis but they will not fit the Bulls cap situation. Both are free agents in 21, by that time if all goes well, the bulls will have to pay Dunn and Markkanen. No cap space for a max contract

Agreed
Said this at the beginning of the season, the Bulls should sign Giannis's brother Thananis. Put him on the Windy City Bulls an you just got a perfect recruiter.

Davis has that player option. He likely hits the market a year before Giannis. To me though, he's a prime trade candidate prior to then though. Accumulate the assets, develop some of them and throw some of them towards the Pels, prior to him hitting FA anyway.

Bulls - Portis, Holiday, Felico NO pick
for
Grizzlies - Parsons and Grizzlies Pick

Bulls get Grizzles pick which right now is 7th but have to take Parsons bad contract. If season ended today and stayed record wise we would have the 6th and 7th pick. Do something like Bamba/Mikal Bridges or JJJ/Mikal Bridges. Parsons has a big 4 yr 20+ million, Id let it run for another season or two then stretch it.

Grizzlies get a solid NO pick, good role player and promising PF plus lots of cap relief

Felicio and Nelson for Mahinmi and the Wiz pick.

Get's the wiz under the lux tax and gives them a pg to play until Wall gets back.

That’s a good deal.

Yes, getting Ferguson in return would have me really psyched. No real current value, but significant upside.

Only problem w Ferguson is he plays the same spot as Lavine Val and Nwaba... none of those guys are SFs and Either is Ferguson. We really need a 6”8-6”9 wing.

Let's trade RoLo, Holiday and Grant for a 2nd rounder each...just to quiet this board.

I would rather not trade Lopez or Holiday for 2nds. They really won’t impact the tanking and from what I read they are good veterans for the locker room. Grant, Nelson and Allen but probably at best a conditional 2nd

Doesn’t really matter , he’s taking over Holiday role. Both are the same height at 6’7 and Ferguson still so young he can put on weight. Also a gifted athlete he’s more of a 3 and D wing potentially. We need more potential players on this roster regarding of position.

I thought he was only 6’3... Avery Bradley clone.

Wow. 6’7. I want him more now.
