That was my thought exactly and then I realized there's not enough games left to prove he 7 million to season valuable.

$7M this year aint the problem...its the $14M the next two following seasons that makes the contract unmoveable. If Galloway was on a one year deal...could easily flip him to a team like Charlotte for Jeremy Lamb and 2nd and upgrade there. 3 year deal for a guy that's going to be on outside of the rotation ain't happening.

And I understand the need to overpay for free agents....the reason it does cost $7M to get Galloway but I don't understand the 3 years. Highly doubt many teams out there was offering 3 year deals to Galloway back in July.
