I feel like the FO already know they like him, and being an AZ product he is definitely all over this - this will be the big asset consolidation he has been waiting for. Doors will be closed on this one so all the stuff Gambo is saying is just his own hot air (no one with any sense is giving up a top 5 pick for a RFA).

I think McD is talking to Gordon's people to try and lock in a ballpark figure for what he wants in order to stay in the desert. If we can get a slight hometown discount in the area of $18-20m per, you bet we are pulling the trigger.

I hope so man, Its not often you can get a guy in his early 20s with the numbers hes putting up.

Damn he is erratic. The intensity on this team is great but the attitude that comes with it for Chriss, and to a lesser extent Jackson and Booker needs to be weeded out. 20 year olds averaging 7/5 shouldn't be arguing with coaches in that way.

What does this equate to? Suspended with pay?

Hmmm ... it's a diversion as Chriss will be packaged with two Heat picks and Buck pick for Gordon.

This 100%. I get this team sucks at d but improving it with nonshooters is not the answer. Give me someone who can so both. Oh and booker giving the slightest **** on that side of the ball would help. When your best player dogs it on that end it sets a terrible example.

Booker being unable to shoot the damn ball straight doesn’t exactly help us get better at shooting either.

I'd definitely be interested in seeing what Smart can do in full time PG duties. If we trade the Miami pick we'd need to get something else back like one of their younger prospects that isn't up yet in case Smart doesn't work out. He'd only get a significant offer-sheet if he plays well for us at which point we'd want to keep him anyway.

Gordon isn't getting traded...

X100

Marcus Smart, Aaron Gordan.

Just what we need next to JJ and TJ.

I sat behind the Suns bench a few times earlier this season and the dialogue between the coaches on Chriss was interesting. Jay kept telling the assistants things that Chriss needed to work on. The assistants would note it down.

Perhaps Chriss got sick of all the constructive criticism???

Still, not an excuse to unload on a coach. Hope he is not Archie Goodwin 2.0. Chriss is not good enough yet to have an ego.

I personally think Booker will pick up his defense when the town calls to arms. Right now with PG duties along with facing double and triple teams at times he just cant carry that load.

I think him carrying such a big offensive load does wear him down and contributes to his bad d. Some of this is just a natural learning curve of learning to be the guy on O and frankly he probably needs to get in a little better shape next season. None of this is all that abnormal for a 21 yr old 3rd year player. But he does need to pick up his effort level on d to take the next step as a player. I don't think he'll ever be a great defender but just holding his own would be a huge step.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

A quick rescan of the game during timeouts coming to and from the break I did not see any dust up with Queese. What I did notice was with 1:14 to go down by a ton, for some reason Triano looks to the bench to put him in. As he's walking by Triano and the bench to go in you see Jared Dudley look up at the coach and at queese like what the ****?!?! It's the fourth quarter with 1:14 to go and the Jazz are at the free throw line there's a tight shot of the suns bench as this happens, if you still have it on your DVR. He wound up not going in, Jackson gets fouled attempting a dunk and when action stopped and he should have been at the scorers table, he was no longer there.

Chris has to go ASAP. I dont want this **** going on with our team again. Josh Jackson has made more improvement in 3 weeks than Quese has in 2 years. Weed this kid out now! Losing by 20 every night is hard enough but to pile on top of that with a entitled kid with a bad attitude. We cant let this poison spread again.

Mind you I thought Dudley's reaction was to why the hell is Triano sending him in with 114 go.

Hornacek is awesome in that clip. He doesn’t even seem to flinch while Morris is having is tantrum. I’m thinking he said, “I’ve passed tougher poops than you.”

The way I'm working out our salary cap going forward we only have room to acquire 1 Max Player.

Booker = $27m
Warrren = $12m
2018 Pick = $8m
Jackson = $7m
Bender = $5m
Chriss = $3m
Young Core 6 Players = $62m

Assume Bottom 8 Players = $16m

$78m + 1 Max Player = Salary Cap of $110m

Yeah, Gordons sister used to be pretty beastly when she played ball at Harvard, but looks pretty good since she dropped that weight down.
