If Andre Roberson was historically bad on offense, what is Huestis?

I'm so glad we're playing more and more scrubs who can't make FTs and who can't make jumpers each year.

-8 in less than 6 minutes? sounds about right for the ferguson starters. the mad genius says that starters are less important than who finishes, but now we have an 8 point hole to dig out of the rest of the game.
melo's looking worse and worse. he's trying on offense. trying to get to the rim. but on defense when the opponent gets adams out of the paint we are so boned without roberson to shut down passing lanes on the perimeter. it's sad to watch melo defensively.

only trolls actually think this. it was obvious before the season that dre wasn't even the worst player offensively on this team, not by a long shot.

I'm hoping that post ASB that we really change up our scheme on defense. Stop playing the bigs so high and letting help cover the paint. Hopefully we get some practice time in where the guys learn a more conservative way of covering the PnR. There's just no chance Melo/Grant/Abrines can contain any roll man.

Bench looks legitimately better defensively.

Grant has been much better finishing inside lately. Huestis and Ferguson have no business stepping onto an NBA court. Just start patterson or grant already.

this puts anthony at sf. he's going to need a portable oxygen tank to keep up.

You could start them instead of Melo. At this point, nothing can be off the table, even Melo coming off the bench.

Robes may legitimately be the third most important player on this team.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Really russ? Let it go. You didn’t even get touched on that layup.

between him and adams. if we had lost adams instead i think our offense would go down the tubes like our defense has losing roberson.

Small sample but it didn't look much worse with dakari. Of course that was when the offense was trash no matter what. But I think you could find someone to replicate Steven easier than Robes.

Can Melo occasionally help the team? Just occasionally?

This feels like so many other games we’ve lost to bad teams.
