Not sure how he went from all-defense with solid shot to this but its painful to watch. Its a good thing for teams that hes expiring. Our 1st doesn't look like it's going to be a lotto pick, might be more useful as a trade chip for LA.

Yeah that trade is looking great when you really think about it. Just upgraded the frontcout from Tobias to Blake at the cost of a mid 1st.

Obviously he's owed a lot of cash but at least we are finally getting something out of our cap.

Tobias is the perfect guy to have come off the bench as a scorer... Thing is, LA already has that guy in Lou Williams. Tobias is a great character guy and has worked at improving his offense but he still doesn't go to work the way you need him to defensively which makes it hard for everyone else to go to work when the guy who is taking the most shots isn't willing to put the effort in.

The main problem with Tobias in LAC is, they already have Gallo. They're both kinda similar, both terrible defenders, neither should be playing at SF nowadays, and they're both efficient scorers that shoot well 3's.

Fun facts: Dre leads the entire NBA defensive plus/minus, defensive rating, and defensive win shares

Now is when we should trade Drummond for maximum return.

Maybe a Drummond+future 1st for Marc Gasol.

Well? Am I doing it right?

I don't think that's enough. We probably have to include at least 1 2nd rounder.

Mario Hezonja starting to show signs of life. Man, we've had a lot discussion about Stanley being on too tight a leash, misused, not getting enough minutes but all of that pales in comparison to how badly the Magic handled Hezonja.

Or how badly Hezonja handled himself. Brashly confident, clueless on the court. Stanley may suck on offense, but he usually played smart... he just can't shoot. On the second unit, someone had to shoot. Mario can shoot, but seemed to never know what his man was doing or how to fit into a team concept on defense.

I hope Hez makes something of himself, because he can be an exciting player to watch. His offensive potential compares to Stanley's defensive reality.

Porzingis likely done for season now. Blew out his knee dunking over Giannis.

Ugh, horrible.

Been a really bad rash of injuries leaguewide recently.

As a side note, Blake is probably KP's all star replacement.

I wouldn't mind Blake getting the rest and time to get acclimated to the area... could be a good thing for him down the stretch but also would be happy if he gets the recognition. Kemba or Ben Simmons seem like the other two most likely guys.

Yeah, would afford Blake some time to find a home and all that. Having his Creature comforts taken care of will only help him down the road.

I think you're right, Kemba or Simmons would probably make better candidates because Blake has only been in the eastern conference for 3 games. Would kind of be circumventing the system if Blake got the nod.

How bad is that trade looking for Cleveland right now. IT and Crowder are a disgrace and that pick isn't looking all that great.

Cleveland might lose to the tanking Orlando. Hezonja is doing well again.

Washington is absolutely terrible against Philly. If we continue to play well, we could still get a decent seed.

Simmons with 22 in the 3rd quarter. WTF. Wish we had signed him instead of Galloway :sigh:

DRose and IT a combined 3/20. This season is looking like a repeat of the Lakers 2010-2011 playoffs for them. You think just maybe they'll turn on the switch eventually, but they never end up doing it.
