Why would Blazers trade him?

They spent all their cap space to apease him and build around him and McCollum.

They are fine.. They just need a high impact SF.

Yeah, he just met with the owner about how to build for the future and re-affirm their commitment. McCollum very likely not going anywhere either.

This is nuts.

Why would Nets make him available?

For a star player?
But they don't have the team to contend for a while. Russell is the type of player they need...young budding star.
Or do they want a top pick?... If so I would trade Suns pick for him barring its top 3.

He's not available.

I've had a hard on for Russell since his Laker days and the moment i saw that tweet a scoured the web trying to find any tidbit of info that talked about the Nets possibly moving him, and there are none. Yes, they are trying to move a few players, but he isnt one of them. Hell, even the Dinwiddie talk is a stretch of the truth. That Woj clip mentioned that they are trying to get a pick or two for some of their players, and all that was said was:

WOJ.“Maybe Joe Harris gets them a second. Spencer Dinwiddie has just been tremendous. They have him next year on a team option at a really low number. So you’re not giving up Spencer Dinwiddie without getting a LOT back. Whoever they would draft --lets say they got a pick -- would he be better than Spencer Dinwiddie? Probably not and so I think Brooklyn has put themselves in a position where they can keep gathering up some assets.”

LOWE. “I think if they could get a first for Dinwiddie, they would think about it.”

But yeah, there is absolutely nothing anywhere about Russell besides that damn Valley of the Suns tweet.

They wouldnt. Dame/CJ arnt going anywhere. Every team that has called about one or the other has been turned away flat with no further discussions, as the FO has been adamant that they are not trading either of them. Word is that the Cav's approached them with a possible Love or IT trade, and yeah, same response that other teams got, they are not on the market.

What would you guys think about adding Dennis Schroder from Atlanta? He is 24 and locked up for 4 years about 15mil per year. He would fill the void at point guard and give us consistency there.

Shroder
Rubio

Looks like Dragan's play over the last 2 games has earned him a starting spot tonight even with Quese available tonight. Hopefully he can keep it up, would like to see him and Quese out there together a bit too.

I checked all of Yahoo! sports and see NOTHING Chandler or Dudley related. That twitter account likes to repost others stories and usually includes a link, but to this he did not.

when I saw Gerald B on twitter say that about Mannix report that I was like - and "it gets hot in Phoenix in the summer time"
(I didn't read the Mannix report as no need - of course the Suns would move chandler)

I think the best the Suns will do is something like the Bucks if they strike out on Jordan - feel that Chandler has some ability to help, Mirza is doing nothing for them - the Suns save a bit of cap space and both deals expire in 2019

Lol, ok, found the "Report".

If you want Tyson Chandler or Jared Dudley, call — Phoenix is willing to send out both of them.

Would Dudley to the Cavs for Frye make sense for Cavs?

With Love out - would Dudley being a spot up three point shooter, stretch 4 help them for the next 6 weeks or so?

My guess, the Cavs want to use Fryes expiring in a bigger deal but just trying to find matches for Dudley and chandler - pretty difficult

You do realize that Frye is a 3 point shooting stretch 4/5 right? He was the prototype! The thought that Dudley would be an upgrade over Frye for those exact reasons you mentioned make no sense, as that is exactly what you get with Frye.

Look, we are not going to get anyone of note for either of them. We would be lucky at this point to just get a simple expiring contract back. Thats it.

Bender usually struggles when he starts. During the long stretch when Chriss was injured and Bender started, man he was bad. I know last game he started and played well but that’s mainly an anomaly. I hope it continues to work though.

Chandler and Dudley have been available for trade the last 2 seasons.

Dudley I really want to stay and become part of the FO... But he's paid 10 million dollars a year, probably three times as much as the GM and VP combined. If he is traded maybe he comes back after his contract expires.

And what has James Jones done since coming in as VP of basketball operations?

Has he utilized his connections?

LeBron James forming a super team in Phoenix would be fine thanks.

Michael Scotto: I wouldn’t totally rule [the Suns] out [for] DeAndre Jordan. And I’m sure some people are gonna say ‘Why would they go after him? DeAndre is closer to 30.’ But Ryan McDonough has talked about knowing some guys that he has there, that are a part of his core, and trying not to wait forever.
