I don't think he was trolling. I think he's just a weirdo.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Disclaimer: I’m always a huge skeptic, but HighHeat got close enough that I tend to believe him as someone with “connections.”

That said, a few weeks ago I went through most of his posts when it was still unclear if he had sources (pre-Cain/Yelich) and he has some weird as hell, “the Dodgers would be stupid not to take this Braun trade I’m offering” where he was a surly **** to them for saying no on an mlb.com Dodgers board.

He also had a serious trade proposal about Mike Trout on brewerfan.net. I’ll let you use your imagination because I’m too lazy to go find it again, but as you would guess, we didn’t give our entire farm system for Trout in it and it was hilariously shortchanging the Angels...it was a brutal thread.

Sometimes you have to read through the crap. That "breaking news" post was full of stuff that was obvious or otherwise predictable, and yet vague enough that he couldn't get called on it if it fell through.

Plus, the sheer breadth of what he alleged was odd for someone relying on an insider. BP gave us a few one liners here and there - whispers he heard. HH practically gave out a series of vague, unrelated allegations that even credible journos don't get from their sources. That sets off my bull detector.

He comes off as a poster who possibly had some legit nuggets, loved the attention they brought him, so he decided to double down with BS.

Wow, you went way back in the archives for that one. I thought you were talking about something he said last week.

I understand being annoyed with people attacking his credibility and the fake accounts on Twitter. The way he carries himself does not help his case though. Dudes a strange duck for sure

This is so **** stupid. I'm not going to the concert but I'm pissed off on behalf of those who are. Moving concerts is a PITA for the consumers, many of whom make nights/weekends out of it, and/or may need to be taking off work. If you know that there's a possibility that it could be moved - and especially if you're already committed to coming back later in 2018 if needed - then just schedule the later **** date.

My wife was going to go to the Bon Jovi concert in April but didn't want to have to deal with changing dates if the Bucks have a playoff game. In regards to the Brewers I don't like how it looks having the official Brewers account promoting a concert in October when the playoffs are going on. Sure the date can be changed but contending teams shouldn't be scheduling concerts in October. Pick an off day during the summer or wait until November.

He also dropped a nugget that he expects the deal between the Brewers and Indians to get completed before opening day and that it will most likely include Santana. Said also that Santana for a high end pitching prospect (Puk/Groome) could also happen. Did the rant he had yesterday get deleted? I couldn't find it over there.

Nerd fights are serious business apparently. There are like 5 locked threads over there. Unreadable.

The rant was deleted by HH19 or the mods, don't know who. Basically gave the rules that must be followed for him to stick around or it will be strike three and listed all of the inside information he had correct. There was nothing new regarding the Brewers in that long posts so nothing missed. The post he had in the Santana thread as mentioned was the only one with new information.

The problem is Sherran is an idiot and is starting his tour on August 18th.

He has two concerts at Rogers Centre on 8/30 and 8/31 but the Jays are on the road and they have artificial turf so there's really no need to re-sod a large area of the field like would be required at Miller Park. He's at Busch Stadium on the 6th and the Cardinals are back home on the 10th, so maybe they could get the grass fixed fast.

He's in St. Louis on September 6th and Detroit on September 8th. Why not come here on the 10th when the Brewers start a 3 game series in Chicago and then have an off day on Thursday? It's not out of the way and he doesn't have another show until the 14th.

He also has a show at Minute Maid Park on November 3rd. That could be a huge problem if there are a lot of long series' in the postseason and Houston makes it back.
