If the Blake trade hadn't revitalized the team, I wonder what kind of crazy ass offers we'd be getting for Bullock right now. Dude is tearing it up.

I've heard everything from he'll be back after the ASG, to he's out for the year. So its definitely a gamble, which is further complicated by his pending FA. If he ended up missing the entire season, that could turn out a blessing in disguise as he's probably resign pretty cheaply. If so, Detroit would likely struggle to add a similar talent for the miniscule amount of money they would have to spend.

If that deal did go through, Pistons would still be under the tax. I'm a gambler by nature, so if the cost is only Henry I would take that roll of the dice.

That gamble would have came up snake eyes.

Still would look into Seth in free agency, he'll probably come pretty cheap. Might be next year's Tyreke Evans.

I'm growing more fond of Hood lately. Obviously his stellar performances are helping too. I wouldn't mind giving up Bullock/Ellenson/2nd for Hood. I think that is a fair package. Bullock is excellent but Hood is averaging 17ppg on 40% 3pt shooting. He can shoot the 3, put the ball on the floor, and has a nice touch around the rim. Apparently his defense sucks but I think he has the physical tools for SVG to develop into a competent defender. We would still have SJ and Kennard on good contracts too and with there being very little money out there for FAs I could see us retaining hood for a really nice contract.

Jackson/Smith
Hood/Kennard
Johnson/Kennard
Griffin/Tolliver
Drummond/Reed

Could be something special, especially if SJ continues to develop

If we were to give up a guy between Bullock/SJ id actually give up SJ only because Reggie will for sure be here next season. Hood could have a crazy offer we couldn't match then we would have zero shooting on the wing other than Kennard.
