What is someone else going to do with 4 2nds? Lol.

I hope we take shots on a bunch of young euros. Maybe one or two will turn out to be NBA talent.

I would absolutely use any of them to make a trade but the picks we end up with we should take some shots as opposed to selling them which I think is what is most likely.

Sell 3 of the second rounders... Way too many.

I'm in favor of using second rounders to add talent via trade - not by trading picks for better picks, but by trading picks in exchange for solid young contributors, which we take into cap space. Also in favor of using them to shed salary, but I think that is unrealistic (as is trading them for a first, IMO). Teams are valuing space much more than they were in years prior. Firsts have been expensive for a while now.

... And yet here we are with both! :D

Yeah. We got a bunch of picks and the youngest roster in the NBA. Somethings got to give.

I’ve been seeing that the Suns need a PG. Would they be interested in Milos Teodosic? It could be something simple like Teodosic for the ‘18 Second from the Raptors since the Suns still have capspace. Teodosic is signed fairly cheap through next year as well. He may be available for cheap if the Clippers decide to cut salary for this upcoming summer.

Its tempting. A vet like miso who knows how to play would be good for this squad.

But I'd probably pass. The potential opportunity cost is too high. That extra 6mil could be crucial in chasing someone this summer via free agency or trade. Every little bit can count in those situations.

This is the type of move that might make more sense in july is the clips are looking to move salary and the suns have exhausted other options.

Feels like a stop gap option at best. I'd move a mid-late 2nd for him if our PG situation isn't addressed after the draft.

You don't add anyone of real worth with a 2nd or two....unless it's through the draft.

I have no problem using 4 second round picks like lottery tickets trying to find the next Draymond, Brogdon, Arenas, or IT.

I'd do the Dinwiddie trade in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't touch AG right now. I was all aboard the AG train earlier in the season but now it seems like his stats have normalised and he doesn't appear to be as good as I thought. I also don't want to deal with his new deal

Im fine keeping the seconds the more swings the better chance you get a hit. With 4 they should probably grab at least a couple euro stash guy. Its still long odds but some pan out and it's also a way to retain value of an asset for minor trades.

Yeah, I would do it. I love Teodosic's passing and shooting.

But obviously we are not gonna make absolutely nothing because we have big time players at PG and SG in Canaan, Ulis, Gray, Knight, Daniels, Reed and House.

If we slip outside of the top 5 picks than we better be ready to make a huge splash this summer. Not sure on who, but I won't be happy getting the 6th-8th pick.

Would Dudley to the Cavs for Frye make sense for Cavs?

With Love out - would Dudley being a spot up three point shooter, stretch 4 help them for the next 6 weeks or so?

My guess, the Cavs want to use Fryes expiring in a bigger deal but just trying to find matches for Dudley and chandler - pretty difficult

Dudley sucks lol. Good veteran and locker room guy. I am sorry but he is not going to make the cavs better lol

That's not true at all. Everyone was saying how embarrassing it was that a 32yo Dudley was so much better than Chriss. Are you saying that he isn't as good as everyone was saying he was?

I'm being snarky again, but I fully agree. Dudley had not looked good this year except in very small snippets... well heck, so has Chriss, but more often.

Anyway, Dudley and Chandler, unfortunately, are $23M we'll have to contend with next year, I'm afraid, in addition to $14.7M for BK, who nobody here wants. This is why I am so against picking up any contract for any player over 29 for a full contract. The risk is too great that their play digresses by the last 2 years of the contract, and we get stuck with it. And in Chandler's case, he's just not part of our future.

I assume the Knicks will now just not extend Porzingis until they see how he recovers from the ACL next year. It's too bad. I would have been OK with taking a chance and offering him a max deal.

I don't think I want to trade Daniels. He's a cheap sharpshooter.

Hopefully we can just move Len for even a future 2nd.

I don't expect us to move Chandler or Dudley and really don't care if we do anyway. Wouldn't be the worst thing to have those guys in place to mentor whatever rookie(s) we draft this summer.
