I would have liked that deal too for next year - but the Suns have Williams and Chandler so maybe not a need. Especially for the costs. Suns easily could have shipped the Bucks and Grizz picks or Grizz and Raptors pick and taken on the salary

Knicks fans are going to lose their minds with this, particularly after last night.

Which two guys of the top 7 do you not like?

This is my draft board as of now...
Ayton
Doncic
Porter
Bagley
Young
Not too high on JJJ or Bamba. They will be long-term projects IMO.

Anyone think Dwight/Kemba get moved before the deadline? Placing bets.

I mostly agree with Qwigglez (not on the exact order ofc), except i’d throw Bagley in scare me to death prospect pool with Jarren and Bamba

Jaren Jackson's college stats are very similar to Joel Embiid, except that Jackson is shooting 44% from three (and 2 rebounds per game less). Bamba is going to have defensive impact from day one. Rudy Gobert trajectory IMO.
The two players that scare me are Porter (injuries, no college resume to view) and Doncic (declining stats, declining efficiency, Euro tend to surprise negatively).

It's pretty clear that he already lost some of his quickness and vertical

I disagree. If anything, he's looked lighter on his feet the last week or so.
Though he got Randle-handled, I actually thought he did a pretty good job on him, given the size disparity. Getting stronger will help.
Yeah, I thought he held his ground a bit. He didn't seem to shy away. It was a step even though it was a bad shooting night. I found it kind of impressive compared to most of his earlier games where he was so tentative. Shouldn't have given him a Cactus, which was more because of lack of other options.

I'm one for an exciting trade deadline, so I hope so. But not sure what team that needs him would be willing/able to get him. So they probably stay in CHA

I'm thinking to the Cavs if they decide to trade the Nets pick.

Dwight is getting traded for sure now, Willy wanted playing time. Cavs make the most sense.

Dwight Howard, Kemba Walker for
Nets pick, Channing Frye, Isiah Thomas and maybe JR and Shump
deals saves Charlotte some cash dumping Howard for TT; Frye and Thomas are expiring, Shumpert and Kemba on the same time but save some cash and they get the Pick

The way Cleveland's season is going, if they trade the Nets pick, the Nets will win the lottery, even if they sit in the 8th spot, but I'd be happy for Charlotte and at least it wouldn't be another west team getting it....though they might take Trae...or probably Doncic....Trae if they get 2 or 3 and Doncic's gone.

Yeah right... I think if they don't trade the Nets pick they will end up getting the No 1 pick... again.

I don't see it. Too much to move in very little amount of time.

I understand your fears but both of them have been showing the ability to step outside and hit the 3. Both have soon a greater willingness to play effective defense than Ayton and are both better shot blockers. My biggest fear is for JJJ who is a drawing a lot of fouls and his natural position is that of a power forward over a center. I think our two biggest needs is center and point guard. So yes I can picture Bamba being picked by the Suns and being a backstop for the team.
Just say no to idiots!!

Re: Season Speculation, Trade Ideas & Discussion Pt. 6
So the Knicks go from unwilling to trade Willy Hernangomez for Bledsoe to giving him away for 2 second rounders?
He's locked into a great contract. May as well be free. Why not take him?
Chandler can coach from the bench. Len is gone. Sauce is hurt. Bender at the 5 has improved our spacing quite a bit. Wouldn't mind another stretch 5.
