Hot take: John Wall is a chucker and doesn't make his team much better.

I've long theorized that was him paying "vig" until he paid the bookie what he owed after a LARGE gambling debt.

Cold take: would trade Delly for him, per source Rodzilla he makes team much better.

MJ doesn't seem like the kind of owner who'd embrace a tank and rebuild strategy.

According to Woj even trading Walker would be a "reset".

Charlotte is hopeful that the inclusion of Walker in a potential trade could help bring back a good young player or a first-round draft pick.

Ultimately the Hornets know that trading Walker in any deal would be a reset for the franchise, which would be sending away its No. 2 player all time in terms of career points and assists.

Then MJ pushed back hard on the idea that they would trade Walker in a total rebuild kind of deal.

“It’s not like we are shopping him. We would not just give him up. I love Kemba Walker. I would not trade him for anything but an All-Star player.”

I love that, but explain his affinity for shredded and/or garish denim outfits?

This is such a terrible look for Wall. Pretty ridiculous. He's still a really good player but may have peaked, and who knew he was this insecure?

Even when Charlotte makes a good value deal, you have to question their sanity. They receive the bigger win now piece in the deal in Hernangomez while sending out 2 2nd rounders. If you like Hernangomez, send out vets, keep the picks, and get a higher one this draft. They are as hopeless as we were under Kohl.

Going by their comments, if you're one in the camp inclined to want to move Middleton or Bledsoe because you don't appreciate their contribution here or think others fit more, it appears Charlotte might be up for a swap of one of them for Walker. They're just looking to move pieces around to see if the puzzle finally fits.

I am impressed by Lebron's commitment to his legacy with the "I would never leave my teammates by waiving my no trade clause". He is either planning on really turning on the jets after the trade deadline or he essentially just wasted one of his last "prime" years with the circus this year.

Besides his reaction, the jabs that his teammates took at him publicly first is a sign they really must not like the guy behind the scenes. I've kind of had my eyes on Wall as a potential guy down the line to add as the #2 with Giannis. But if his teammates hate him then that's a flag.

Regardless, I'd guess Wall is on the block this summer. Maybe New Orleans to pair up with Boogie. Can trade back Holliday.

It has been obvious to me he's very insecure just from watching him on the court. Every reaction he makes to every call or non-call for starters.

I think it's telling that since Gortat is on the block right now after that tweet that Wall is the guy they want to keep.

He'll make it up by signing with a super team this summer...

Yea he's supposedly out there. I was thinking more for the rest of the team. Gortat is done anyway. There's been a long standing rumors of beef with Wall and Beal. Seems like the team is on Beal's side not Walls. But yea up to now WAS certainly has viewed Wall as the guy and have backed him no matter what. It's probably reading to much into little stuff like this but if they continue to publicly bicker and everyone doesn't like him, maybe they shake it up this summer one way or the other.

They just signed Wall to a $170 million super-max extension. He's not going anywhere.

I still would have rather acquired Wily than Zeller.

This is why I love our stars. All these other guys have been coddled their whole lives being told they are the best. Our guys were nobodies. Parker was one of those guys, but seems to be brought up different and two acls I’m sure has grounded him as well

To be fair to Wall, there have been not-so-subtle insinuations from his teammates that they're better without him. That would tick me off if I was in his shoes.

It's telling that their toxic, bad at basketball center on a crappy contract is on the block rather than their superstar point guard?

Ask any Wizards fan and they will tell you how Gortat has acted in the past as well.
